I'm sure Danny's going to say, give me all your end of the bench contracts for Kelly,
so I can I have roster issues to deal with. A First Round pick, why would I want another one?
Get real people, Ainge isn't giving Olynyk away for garbage.

Oly has no significant trade value because he's going to become an UFA.

Even a 1st round pick is too much to offer for Oly.

It's down to who becomes the highest bidder gets Oly.

Celtics trade the whole batch of guys I mentioned above and take back KO, Kris Dunn and Simon fontecchio.

NYK trades Fournier, and takes back Kornet, Stevens, Brissett (cuts Taj G and some other scrub).

Utah trades the three guys going to Boston and takes back a pick and Walsh, Banton, Svi, Fournier.

I prefer Queta over Kornet, Pritchard over Banton, Hauser over Svi, and Stevens/Brissette is a wash so far.

So Kornet, Banton, Svi and Brissette for Olynyk is fine for me, but Olynyk might be a one year rental, and Danny would want to fill his war chest with picks, so I'd pass on this.

Other teams can make better offers.

I’d love to snag KO…but think buy out is the way. I don’t want to trade Pritchard or Walsh in any outgoing deal, and I am liking Brissett as well.

Gotta keep Brissett. I enjoy his behind the scenes YouTube Videos.

KO being bought out is ideal. Boston is a real fit for him personally. He has a real role for a championship level team.
Not only he is another stretch four, he helps soothe an elephant in the room. Do we have enough bench scoring, as we depend on Hauser? You look at his stats and he is around 42% this year, but following a miserable stretch that reminds us that he was not reliable in the playoffs.
KO is the kind of deadline insurance this team needs. Not only is he an excellent shooter he is also an excellent and willing passer.
Let Brad and Ainge work this out. Ainge buys Olynyk out, Brad owes him in a future deal.
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."

Maybe we can hold off on anointing Queta the Center of the Future and grab that extra big. After a good run against a bunch of 6'8 dudes, Queta played against some real bigs and looked horrible.

Watch him go back to Miami after getting bought out.

Yeah, AD is gonna do that to just about anyone. Not just Queta. Who did you have in mind that’s gonna slow down Anthony Davis?

Yes Queta was exposed against Anthony Davis but there is no shame in that - as long as it doesn’t become a trend. We don’t need Queta to be center of the future. We need him or Kornet/Brissett/Stephens to fill in admirably for chunks of the regular season so the guys we rely on in the playoffs are healthy. I think they have managed to do that pretty well so far. Our record in games without KP and/or Horf has been solid.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

you know I aint staying quiet on dis one! :o

but seriously speaking, Boston traded D Bane. A Young talent for whatever reason. Look at how bad that turned out. Walsh is in his own way a young talented player. Can't trade him for a veteran rental. If they Do I riot!!
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

They traded the pick to dump Kanters contract. The bane pick was made for Memphis. So they didn’t actually trade Bane himself

Walsh is trade fodder, sorry to upset anyone.

I think we probably get outbid for guys though, so Walsh probably lasts the season.

Seems too complicated. I feel like trades with that many teams and that many players, you typically only see that kind of stuff happen if there's multiple star players involved - or at least 1 star...you don't usually see a deal that complex with mostly end of the bench scrubs..

All we're likely to see is something like the Muscala trade. It wasn't complex. It was just a 2nd rounder for Muscala, with us dumping Justin jackson and then OKC waiving Jackson. Something like that is what we're probably gonna get this season too..but perhaps with a player who's slightly better than Muscala coming into Boston..

The most complex deal we've seen recently involving only bench guys/role players was like last year the 3 team deal with Bey going to ATL, Wiseman going to DET and whatever crap went to GS. And that only had like 2 players involved lol.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Cs don't need to rush in making a move.

Right now trading for Oly is just a rumor.

The significance of having Oly is the Cs can use a double big lineup a lot.

Joe likes the double big lineup.

So if it comes down to it, the Cs will really have to sacrifice Walsh in an Oly trade.

It also gives them much needed real depth behind KP and Al.
