didnt see that one coming. nice to see still some fight left, especially after back to back heart breakers.
if the lakers rumored offer for murray is the current high offer, which i suspect it is, the nets should have no issue beating it.
what's interesting is if atlanta is truly prioritize saving $ or doesnt like dinwiddie, i think the nets can accept murray into one of the TPEs and just send Atlanta 2 firsts. unless they love that lakers 2029 so much, it would seem like a pretty simple proposition.
obviously the haggling of that negotiation is which 2 firsts to send, and my guess is the nets are looking to construct 3 team scenarios where they send someone out to pick up at least 1 of the 2 firsts that goes back to Atlanta. if they send out DFS to a 3rd team, that's enough $ to take back Murray and still stay out of the luxury tax.
