Yes bigs depth off the bench and don' forget we'll also be adding 2 snipers in Shamet and Ryan...the bench will go back to being loaded.

I don't really know anything about Ryan, if he was that quality of a role player he wouldn't have been available like he was but I guess we can hope. Although, there's this.... :o

We have no clue how long it will take Shamet to get healthy, Randle missed the rest of the season from middle of January with a similar injury, even though this one probably wasn't as bad given the circumstances.

Maybe I'm being too homerish but I'd rather give the kids a chance before some journeyman left to the gleague draft...ah, let's see Paco run, at least he looks capable of some defense.

I agree...for me- Dontee was an exceptional shooter and decent defender. I think between Mikal and Deuce- it made Donte a luxury

Right, and then hopefully we get Shamet back before the deadline.

Tobias Harris would give us a wing off the bench and play more games/minutes than Mitch ever would

Word is Shamet doesn't require surgery so I'm hoping his timeline is closer to Curry's than Randle's. Ryan was one of the most lethal snipers in the league last season...but he doesn't do much else ...guys like him or Novak can slip through the cracks...

Hey man, I know, times are tough

Check this out  This is one of the comments in the reddit thread there that picture came from

Definitely a cockatoo. My mom had one growing up and it would say all sorts of crazy things. It would ask for crackers, call itself a pretty girl, etc. Except when my mom left me alone with it, then it would be really quiet for a long time and say something stuff like "cancer," "death," "murder," etc for like 30 seconds then shut up again.

One time I was watching TV and it started yelling again, but this time it said my name and kept saying "you gonna die" over and over. It drove me CRAZY. I screamed at it, threw a book at it and missed, and decided to drive to my friend Becky's house. On the way there, I hit some black ice and my car slides out into oncoming traffic. I close my eyes knowing this is probably the end and the rear of the car connects with the car next to me, causing me to spin back into my lane. While the car was damaged I was actually okay.

I get back home later and go to bed. I hear that damn bird again but this time at 3am and I run out of my room to yell at it again. It was calling me the worst names like "slut" and "whore" and "f*cker." I get to his cage and he's sleeping. I poke him and he's ice cold. He is freezing. I realize he's dead and must have been dead for hours to be that cold. Mom later tells me he's been dead for days but she didn't have it in her to throw him out because she loved him so much. She was waiting for my dad to come back from his business trip to bury him. Weird eh?

Nothing to do with the upcoming game but Deuce was on Roommates. They asked him which teammate he can absolutely beat 1v1 and he said, after clarifying that theres no chance the other person could beat him, "Jacob".

Knicks need to pass him the ball with 3 seconds or less on the clock. LOL

I looked at his highlight videos and they might as well call him garbage time Ryan because that's when he mostly played...

Get this W, but I wouldn't mind if we don't grind the starters 40+ minutes in early November against the Pistons.

That Hart 3point percentage stat is wild and just more proof he needs hypnotherapy to get his head right. Not a sports psychologist, he doesn't need to be thinking more about it, he needs to be thinking less.

Just get a hypnotherapist to go in and subtly sooth his subconscious mind in a way it just flows better because right now there's some lack of synchronicity between his conscious and subconscious mind.

The proof is when he has no choice but to shoot it, both parts of his mind are in harmony with the decision to fire away and his shot just flows like he's prime Curry.

It's not his shot mechanics, it's his mind mechanics, it's not 'broken', it's just not optimal for the type of physical skill of shooting a jump shot, he needs that flow state.

I mentioned this before but Mikal should be the clear #3 option behind Brunson/Big Bodega. However Hart and OG certainly have enough offensive game not to be Jared Jeffries or Elfrid Payton out there either.

OG should not be a guy relied on too much offensively unless he is on and hitting 3s. He is not an explosive or sudden finisher and rarely finishes well when highly contested. But when 'on' he can hit multiple 3s and be an opportunistic finsher at the rim with the occasional drive to the hoop if coverage is shifted elsewhere.

Hart is a bit more explosive and sudden than OG but his medium/long range shot is a bit more erratic. But when he's on he can make some fairly high difficulty shots and his fast break game is elite. He is a very good finisher at the rim and a tenacious junk yard dog type player on offense.

These two are a great complement to the 'big 3' of Brunson/KAT/Mikal

As far as the OG money is was kind of right place, right time. He had all the leverage and decided to play hard ball with us. You can argue he is a tad overpaid depending on your view of the value of defense. Because if you value defense like Thibs does than OG is worth every penny. The run we went on last year after getting him was no fluke

Lol. He loves pressure. He's wired like that. In the playoffs he made a number of super high pressure shots too.

Can't wait to see what they look like when a few guys get back and the chemistry really gels.
