I've had a genuinely fun time listen to the Charlotte announcers. They are wildly invested into this game despite this OT.

They told Craig to eat more protein.

Never thought I'd say this about someone who shoots 1-11 from 3, but Coby played well while shooting 1-11 from 3.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Yah, but he almost blew the game in the final seconds of regulation with the bonehead turnover to Micic on the easy fast break pass from Lonzo, then threw up a stupid prayer mid-range shot with 7 seconds left on the shot clock and 12 on the game clock. I was more mad at him then Vooch. I didn't see overtime because the stream froze up. worse than Tyson v. Paul.

That was so ugly.

Bulls lack that killer instinct. They want to coast to wins over teams like Charlotte. Whatever the Bulls ceiling is, it will be limited by their lack of a killer instinct. Have some pride and blow them out by 30.

The Bulls continue to try and straddle the line between playing to win and development and they're just not finding the balance. We started Terry the other night, it didn't go well. We started Phillips tonight, still didn't go well.

We didn't even play Craig till the second half - he drops 18 points and was a +12

Lonzo Ball for MVP - +25 in a 7-point Overtime win. Kind of amazing.

Just when I was starting to say nice things about Vuc we got a classic Vuc performance reminding us all of the past 2 years. Trade him now before he reminds everyone who he is. If you really want to make my day send THT with him.

Career high 5 3's for Williams, which is nice, but that's a record he should be breaking multiple times this season. Get those shots up (within the flow of the offense and not just chucking like Coby tonight).

Matas #1 on the team in blocks, #9 in minutes played.

A great showcase for players they really should trade but won’t. Oh well.

Craig hardly being seen in the court all season... just another indictment of Billy.

So Billy has played more players in the rotation this year than ever. The only guys really getting no burn are Duarte, Carter and Craig. There were some crazy lineups out there today, but not a lot of Buzelis. Saluan was getting burn and word was he was "very raw" like Buzelis. My assumption is Billy is showcasing the entire team for the trade deadline and they are going to clear the decks for Buz. Either that or (like Dalen Terry) they don't think he's all that because they gave Pat and Ayo burn on an older team than this one, but not so much Terry (and Buzelis).

Really?

I thought he played brain dead on both ends…

- His D to start the game helped dig a hole with Curry looking like his brother.

- That 4 on 1 to close the game that he turned over… I’ve never seen that happen before.

- At least 5 dumb 3s he took that were semi open but not in the flow of the game at all.

I’m done with Coby. He’s not a winning player. Move him.

Billy playing Craig seems to mean they are looking to win and make the playoff push.

Might be an attempt to build up his trade value and remind teams of what he's (still) capable of bringing to the table.

Craig barely plays but every time he does he makes an impact.

You could be right, but the circular logic of trying to get a 2nd round pick for Craig at the cost of developing your #11 pick is the most Bulls thing ever. And then when Buz hasn't developed because he's basically being played identically to Lauri's last year here (go sit out at the corner 3 point line and don't you dare do anything else), we'll trade him and he'll become a max player elsewhere.

Unfortunately I think the simplest answer is probably correct, Bulls are all-in for our one play-in game this year.

The Bulls are a team trying to be both things at once. They want to develop guys, showcase guys for trade, oh and win games. Which is how you end up with a 15-18 team despite playing in arguably the weakest conference I have ever seen.

We may not get a draft pick in 2025 but we could possibly get a top-50 protected second-round pick instead of a top-55 protected secound-round pick for Torrey Craig now, so who's really winning?

I will say that this game shows what a future with Coby at SG vs. Zach would look like, and it isn't pretty. Same deal with Pwill who still only managed to get up 11 shots.

Ball's shooting is truly horrid, and I hope it continues til the end of the season so that we can keep him on a reasonable deal. Dude was +25 going 1-3 shooting and 1-3 at the line...crazy.

Matas needs more minutes to develop. He's got potential, it oozes from him, but right now he really sucks at making baskets because the game is still moving too fast for him.
