We really don't know that. It's possible winning puts the Raptors in a spot that jumps in the lottery this year. We're not going to out tank those other teams in the East

This is not objective. More losses always gives better chances to jump or stay at high draft position. Even if we don't out tank Wizards or Jazz, we could have still remained top 4.

And relax you guys we weren’t gonna lose out the rest of the way. No need to be upset at wins lol

There’s plenty of reason to… we’ve beaten decent teams (ie BOS) and the schedule is set to get dead easy. We’re not just gonna get the “occasional” win here or there against teams that unlike us are being very intentional in their tanking, we are gonna win more than we’d like if our goal was actually to have a good pick.

And honestly, I'm not convinced the Wizards and Jazz are going to be able to claw themselves above water anytime soon

The NBA seems to not find any wrong with what Utah is doing this year, so that team is most likely going to be handed the top pick. It's kind of funny how they've investigated other teams

Definitely sketch if Utah wins the lottery.

We had a 15 game losing streak last year from blatant tanking. Anything is possible

You mean top 6.....bottom 2 isn't realistic so no point in stressing over it.....best case is 3-4 which is top 7 guaranteed (4 has 2.2% chance at 8 which is insignificant)......Hornets and Nets are the main competition for those spots.

Orlando Robinson needs to be our starting 5, come Feb 7.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

They’re intentionally tanking because they have no other choice. You won’t out tank teams like Washington and Utah with the talent we have, it’s just not possible. That’s what people have been trying to say since the beginning of the season.

And I believe in karma tbh maybe these wins are the reason we move up in the lotto. You just never know. Nothing is guaranteed just ask the pistons who fell in the draft year after year

I'm sure they'll try their hardest after the trade deadline. Feb is a very touch schedule.

If the players are playing I want to see them play like this. It means we actually have good players.

We are not going to do better than those other three teams though

I mean it’s hard not too, we had the worst stretch end of December. Last year near the end as well.

Great win. Hopefully we can continue to build on this success in the second half of the season. The playoffs will be a great experience for these young guys.

Call me crazy but I’ll never be upset at us winning games. **** if that’s what it means to tank I am anti-tank.

I hate the Gradey Dick pick - he is going to be a 1-dimensional player for a long time before he can be good enough both sides of the ball to start for a contender, if he becomes that. But the alternatives at that pick were even worse. I ultimately blame Masai for messing up our draft position over pointless wins and a play-in game that caused our 2023 draft choices to dwindle to Gradey Dick. And Masai is doing it again this season - for the reason of pumping some SRP-worth veteran player values in a year they called rebuild year 1

What's his one dimension?
