Interesting big board update from Vecenie, who I find to be one the best in the biz. he is the low many on Fears, but puts the nets picks all within a range of his 4/5 tiers. Tier 4 is starter/all star tool swings, and tier 5 is rotation player/upside swings. Also very close to tier 3 which is high leverage starter.

if the draft fell exactly as his big board lays out a haul along the lines of Fears, Beringer, Demin, Hugo would be something.

I have a strange feeling that Ace will be there for us at 8. Philly seems to be leaving towards VJ, and I'm not sure Bailey is a great project for anyone else before us. I would love it, he's got some serious bust potential but the upside is supernova.

Coward, Sorber and Traore would be my top choices for our other picks, if they're available at 19, 26 and 27. Give me a lanky, athletic core to build around, the Finals have shown the value in that for roster construction.

I've been saying don't be surprised if Ace slides for a while. I think he's over hyped, he's not a great win now fit for Philly, and he's a questionable fit for Charlotte and Utah.

I think well make a trade to get another pick in the top 12. CamJ and #19 should get us into the top 10. I have us taking Fears and Jakucionis if we're able to get the 12 pick or higher which would be awesome ! Unless Ace Bailey slides than yea I think we'll def take him, he has the best boom and bust potential but I think our coach can develop him for sure, he's reminds me of Paul George/KD type if he can fill out. I'm so excited though, I hope we make the right moves, not just make a move for the sake of it.

with picks 8 & 10 let's say they get 2 of some combo of Fears, Kon, Essengue, Jaku, Demin. then at #27 i'll guess they go international again with 1 of Hugo, Penda, or Beringer. Jensen Huang in round 2. Who knows maybe leverage #26 to move up a pick or 2 so they have something like #6 and #10 to grab Bailey if he slides?

still have some cap space still to be weaponized. maybe a follow-up 3 team sends Claxton to LAL for their unprotected 2031 and a lotto protected Boston pick in 2027 with Nets taking back KP's expiring + LAL filler?

obviously a lot of bodies so perhaps some consolidation moves so they can get the young guys minutes? pretty sure this group loses a lot more games than they did last year and adds another top 10 pick next year, plus 50m+ expiring between porz, vincent, kleber.
