From what I've seen and heard of Shelden he's been up and down, as expected (especially with a sporadic, limited oppurtunity to play and develop with who else was on the Hawks), but those ups are intriguing for what type of big man he is. I've always liked him a lot going back to his senior year at Duke. He has ability and up-side on both ends of the floor. More defensively than offensively, of course - but that is perfectly fine with me.
I think Shelden can really bring what this team's been lacking for years.
Well, I'd say that'll come in one of the next two drafts. Quite possibly this year because of the depth of bigs in the draft.
Shelden's more of a center anyway, and Justin's more of a PF than a C.

I have always been a fan of Shelden. He did not deserve the heat he got from the fans. Woody refused to play him, so his minutes are very up and down. When given the minutes, he has produced. The problem is that he would have a 15 mpg day, 3 mpg, 20 mpg, then 3 straight dnp.

Ron Artest isn't traded yet, and there's nothing legitimate that says he will be, yet.
Something actually serious has to emerge first. Nothing has been the whole season, so far, except for that three-way trade with LA/Chi/Sac back in the Fall. NY and Denver stuff, hasn't been anything more than just talk and rehash from the media, and exploratory talks.

Here is the AJC article
Hawks to trade 4 players for Kings' Bibby
Could a four-for-one deal completed Saturday finally net the Hawks the point guard they've coveted?
Hawks captain and All-Star Joe Johnson certainly hopes so.
The Hawks have agreed in principle to trade for Sacramento veteran Mike Bibby, sending veteran point guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue back to the Kings, along with second-year forward Shelden Williams and veteran center Lorenzen Wright.
The deal is expected to be finalized Saturday afternoon, a person familiar with the situation told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Officials from the Hawks, Kings and NBA will participate in a 4 p.m. conference call.
Bibby could join the Hawks in time for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the first of five straight road games against Western Conference teams. The next night, the Hawks face the Kings in Sacramento.
"This is another huge step for us," Johnson said Saturday while preparing to play in Sunday's 57th NBA All-Star Game. "You're talking about a guy who can make shots and can run a team. He embodies all the things we've wanted in a veteran point guard and he's also a guy that's known for taking and making big shots.
"And you can never have too many guys like that in the NBA. As tough as it is to see guys like Lue, A.J., 'Ren and Shelden leave, we all realize that this is a business and decisions are made and you make the best of things and move on. But there's no doubt we're getting a guy that can help make us better."

This is a GREAT trade for the Sacramento kings for a couuple of reasons:
1. More money, more money, more money for the future
2. Pretty much says Ron Artest will be gone after this season so more moeny for free agency once again!
3. Sheldon Willims, a great PF that IMHO should start and will get great minutes.
4. We will probably get worse and lose more games meaning better draft pcik baby!
5. More potential in the team and players.

I don't get people saying Ron is gone this offseason.
This is exactly the deal that gives Petrie the option of re-signing Artest, Artest will be re-signed IMO, or at least S&T, this trade gives the Kings a whole lot more room for operation next summer, I love it.
Bibby was great, I loved him, but we were trying to force fitting him in the team when clearly there were better options for 14 million dollars from our cap.
