I don't really care whether we would've kept Rubio or not, but we absolutely could have extorted a bit more out of the trade if we had simply waited until draft night. Don't think they would have taken Stevenson and/or sent us the 18th if they knew it was Rubio they were getting? Shame.

Because Mike James is a SG in a PG's body. Arenas and Foye are combo guards and Critt just isn't very good. James + Critt for a big and then bringing in a rookie to be our 3rd PG makes by far the most sense in balancing our roster over bringing in another rookie big to give our bench only 4/5's 23 and under.
