14 Team H2H

Damian Lillard
Tyreke Evans
Kevin Durant
Josh Smith
Jonas Valanciunas
Kevin Garnett
Thaddeus Young
Ramon Sessions
Mo Harkless
Ben McLemore
Andrew Bogut
John Henson
Alex Len

I think I put far too much faith in Jonas, Bogut, Len, and Henson, and Harkless and McLemore for that matter lol. Big mistakes all around.

Not keen on Marcus Thornton as your main SG with Teague as the other G, like Walker though, he should be up a bit this year with Jefferson there. I'd put Harris in for Ilyasova as well, but that is a personal preference thing I think. You should do OK although I worry about scoring output as Dirk might not play that much.

I am very new to this, also drafted this team on auto (with preference list due to me being in Europe) but pleased that I got Wall, Iggy, Vucevic and Thad Young as I targeted them specifically in the preference list, to end up with Anthony is a massive bonus on top of that.

(10 team league, 7th pick)

PG John Wall
SG Bradley beal
G Andre iguodala
SF Carmelo Anthony
PF Nikola Vucevic
F Thaddeus Young
C DeMarcus Cousins
C Andrew Bogut
Util Tyreke Evans
Util Carlos Boozer
BN Paul Pierce
BN M Carter Williams
BN Ben McLemore
BN Otto Porter Jr
BN Chris Kaman

I dropped Dalembert to pick up Kaman of the waiver. He might replace Bogut depending on how things go, I'll play Bogut first though as I like the defence he brings and I don't have a lot of D outside of him and Iggy.

Got a Trade offer of
DeAndre Jordan and Vince Carter
FOR
Goran Dragic, Amir Johnson and J.J. Reddick.

Not a big fan of DJ although he does give you blocks. It depends on how much you rate Amir Johnson on the Raps, is he going to produce this season? Reddick... might be handy for 3pts, will replace Carter quite well so you would basically pick up Dragic as an extra, that can't be bad!

Hello everybody, I'm new to the forum.. I'm also new to nba fantasy, this is my 1. year playing. So, I would like you to rate my team, I want to hear your opinion...

PG Damian Lillard (Por - PG)
SG Kevin Martin (Min - SG)
G Kemba Walker (Cha - PG)
SF LeBron James (Mia - SF,PF)
PF LaMarcus Aldridge (Por - PF,C)

C David Lee (GS - PF,C)
C Al Jefferson (Cha - PF,C)
Util Monta Ellis (Dal - PG,SG)
Util David West
BN Parsons
BN Tyreke Evans
BN DeMar DeRozan

Should I trade Parsons for Ilyasova? Also, I was thinking of cutting Tyreke and signing Evan Turner, good idea?
What should I change?

I'm playing in a Yahoo H2H league with 10 teams and 9 categories. We drafted last night and this is my current team. I picked 7th and didn't really have a strategy for that spot going into the draft so I had to run with it. I'm just looking for any advice on early season moves/trades I should be making since this is my first year playing with money involved.

PG - Damian Lillard
SG - Bradley Beal
G - Paul George
SF - Josh Smith
F - Anthony Davis
PF - Larry Sanders
C - Marcin Gortat
C - Jonas Valanciunas
Util - Jose Calderon
Util - Tobias Harris
BN - Goran Dragic
BN - Robin Lopez
BN - Jeremy Lamb

I realize Lamb was a super-reach for 10 teams, but I've heard he has a lot of potential being OKC's 6th man. Some of the top names on WW right now are: Manu, W. Chandler, Korver, Marcus Thorton, Waiters, Hawes, Lance Stephenson (considering grabbing him with recent Granger update)

Again any suggestions/thoughts would be great, thanks!

Jeremy Lamb might be raved about while Westbrook is out.. but once he's back Lamb won't be worth anything. If you're looking for 3PM's, Kyle Korver is going to be starting at the 2 for now, and is an above-average rebounder to boot. If Vince Carter is still available I'd see how many mins he play in their first game & give him a serious look. He gets a good amount of just about everything for a later-round guy.

Thats a hard team and league to give advice for because I haven't used that format but I'll try my best.
I feel big men that shoot a high %ft would be ideal in your league because of the double double extra point and don't hurt you with missed free throws.
The -1 for Field goals attempted means that you don't want guys that put up a lot of shots on bad %'s.
Players to target through trade:
Vucevic
Lee
Noah
Chandler
Al Horford
Al Jefferson
P. Gasol
M. Gasol

Waiver wire:
Splitter (get him)
Miles Plumlee
brandon bass
Luke Ridnour

Guys I like on your team in order team:
Davis
Cousins
George
Beal
Bledsoe
Oladipo
Thompson
Griffin
Jack
Drummond
Barnes
McLemore

Players for you to offload for the right price:

Your team isn't too bad and there's not to much you can do with your waiver wire. Couple things I could think of. First I'm not a big fan of Nash. He's old and has neck problems and I feel once he sees for sure the Lakers aren't competing he'll dog it or get "injured". I'd pick up Caldwell-Pope now cause I think he'll get minutes once Maurice gets sick of Brandon Jennings antics and lack of passing to there bigs. I'd take Ray Allen over Delfino right now. I'd also get one more big man over 2 SFs. I'd pick one between Marion and Chandler. I'd probably go Chandler but it could go either way. As for the big to take his spot. I'd go with either Splitter or even Len. I'd actually go with Len because I think he is gonna get a ton of minutes after Gortat being traded. Suns are also tanking so they'll definitely play the kids.

Thanks for the tips!

Would appreciate a rating, willing to do the same. 10 team, 8 cat (no turnovers), 14 roster spots.

Mike Conley, Kemba Walker, Reggie Jackson
Lebron James, Andre Iguodala, JR Smith, Ben Mclemore
Andre Drummond, Demarcus Cousins, Paul Milsap, JaVale McGee
Spencer Hawes, Cody Zeller, Andre Bargnani.

FT punt so my blocks appear solid (but not spectacular I think) and I'm liking my assists a lot. Any place I can improve upon, maybe off the bench (Bargnani)?

Wall/Conley/R, Jackson
Bledsoe/Korver
K. Leonard/J. Green
A. Davis/Thad Young
JV/Pekovic

got two available spots. I need threes and assists. and probably a big man.

Just did an auction draft, 10 teams, 15 roster spots, H2H (10 categories with OREB and TO). 200 dollars per team, and had a couple of people who didn't show so the autodraft somewhat screwed things up. In retrospect, should've pushed harder to get a higher upside player since I had 6 dollars leftover; saved the money for Turner but someone else outbid me so I settled for Jimmy Butler.

Team is listed with dollar paid in brackets:

PG: John Wall (34), Damian Lillard (15), Steve Nash (3)
SG: Dwyane Wade (29), Jimmy Butler (3)
SF: Paul Pierce (4), Tobias Harris (4)
PF: Ilyasova (12), Ryan Anderson (8), Derrick Favors (14)
C: Hibbert (14), Brook Lopez (21), Nikola Pekovic (8)

injured: Westbrook (18), and Rondo (7).

I should also mention that it's a keeper league. We reset everything this year, and each team picks 3 keepers. The kicker is that the price to retain the keeper is the auction price + 10% next year.

Thoughts? I feel like I could use another wing that shoots 3's since Wall and Wade are terrible at that. Otherwise seems pretty balanced although I don't have any top level talent till Westbrook comes back and/or if Wall plays like he did in March/April last year.
