Wiggins' new bread and butter is the step-back lol
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Sweet stepback jumper by Wiggins. He still seems to be hampered by the flu though

He can make a tough step back but he can't make a pull up....explain the logic here....does pull up disrupt his release form?

Haha he may have just missed a shot.
I always found stepbacks difficult though. Never could get them right. I always lost my power, presumably because I couldn't get my legs under me properly after the step back.

Does anyone else notice that Wiggins almost always leans in when he pulls up? When he shoots a stepback he falls away. Probably because he's so strong and just needs to adjust his power on his release.

Are they seriously asking who Kansas has?

Is Miss Kansas not enough?

I know lots of people when playing are better when doing a step back or fallaway J. Some people are just more comfortable with that type of motion.

If you fallaway it should be easier because off all the momentum and you don't lose power. Same thing when you curl off a screen.

Yeah its definitely harder but weird I find his step back had nice square up form but pull up seems to lose the momentum of it...idk...

it's just a comfort thing. He's quick enough to create space for himself on a step-back too.

Yeah even in hoop summit he got an and 1 call from a pull up J lean in...his leaning form reminds me of ron mercer.

Edit: Jabari had a little fade in his form too.

I liked him a lot at UK. Didn't quite pan out in the bigs.
