Melo: Jimmy, does this triangle make my ass look big?
Dolan: Yea, kinda.
Melo: We gotta get rid of it then.
Dolan: Done.

Sure.

Sam Presti
RC Buford/anyone from the Spurs
Bob Meyers
Sam Hinkie
Danny Ainge
Kevin Pritchard
Daryl Morey
Sean Marks
Donnie Nelson
Andy Elisburg
Jerry West

I would add Ernie Grunfeld in Washington and believe it or not Scott Layden in Minnesota after fleecing the Bulls for Butler.

Biggest "WTF" trade in a while. How he got a PICK SWAP in that deal is beyond me.

Don't forget Sasha, Rose, and signing another over the hill C who everyone knew was done (after trading our damn solid starting C on an awesome contract).

Phil was probably going to go "all-in" again...only to fail, blame it on someone else, and fail at tanking the rest of the season.

I was joking with you dude. I agree with you more often than not I believe but, was surprised that you pulled Linn & D'Antoni out. I hoped that was an argument that had died for good :)

He'll pad his numbers, maybe even set some assist records. But make no mistake, Pop will still get in that azz in the playoffs. Dumbtoni vs Pop is a losing battle, every damn time.

Starting on a winning team for the GOAT coach isn't better than playing for a coach who has never made the finals (I know, I know...Horry's hipcheck) and a SG who KILLS possessions while not playing defense?

I hope whoever comes in knows hoe to patiently build one asset at a time. I would hope we took a page out of the Moneyball philosophy and focus on always maximizing value as oppose to glitter. I would also like this organization to go balls out at building the best player development infrastructure money can buy. Instead of wasting money on sh^^ty GM's like Isiah and Phil, put together a dream team/state of the art development group; bring in Hakeem , Stockton , Nash as full-time trainers to take our 4 bottom roster spots as a chance to shape that diamond in the rough into assets for the team, whether is to play for us or been part of future trades. We need assets!!!

Finally, we need a hard working, tough negotiating GM who understands that we need an identity. I believe we need to bring gritty defense back to MSG and who can convince Dolan than we will strike in FA only at the right time.

Here are some prospects:
