So you don't even make the call then? Seems silly to me.
Just to put this in context, we're two powerless fans chatting on an internet forum,
you're saying you'd like to acquire a superstar for scraps, and then when I point out how unlikely it'd be, you act as if I'm costing the team something by not making a pretend phone call.

Nobody said that. You're imagining things. The jokes on you.
You said you'd like tp pry Durant loose.[I point out that relative to a player such as Durant, the Sixers only have scraps.]
You said that if I wouldn't at least make the phone call, that'd be pretty silly.
That's a very close paraphrase, along with my commentary about what the Sixers could order.
Process_Doctor then proposed two expirings (Harris & Kork), only one of which has middling on-court value, and 3 1st round draft picks for Durant.
Just a short while ago, Phoenix acquired Durant for Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson-- who each have good on-court value, with Bridges having very high value-- as well as FOUR unprotected 1st round draft picks, one of which was about to mature, and a pick swap.
I mean, I appreciate Process_Doctor at least making the proposal. You didn't do that. I just pointed out the humor, and you felt the need to call me delusional and say that the joke is on me. In the spirit of the holidays: I apologize that I apparently hurt your feelings. Let's hug it out.
FWIW: I would love to acquire Durant this year. It's just not going to happen.
Anyhoo, all best to you and yours.
