I mean Bam has actual perimeter skills. He can pass some, is a surprisingly good ball-handler and is able to shoot. I have no troubles envisioning him as a 4 if he improves further. Williams has only one position in the NBA. And he's going to be undersized for it.

Williams is 6-10, 240 lbs with a 7-6 wingspan and a 40" vertical. That's more than big and athletic enough for today's NBA center. And really, that's all he needs to be. We don't need a PF. We already have one.

Where are you getting those measurements? I've seen 6'9 and 7'4 wingspan. If he measures legit 6 10 with a 7 6 wingspan he's gonna fly up draft boards.

ESPN Insider

Right on; I don't have insider and was going off tankathon and the sepien which has the 6'9 and 7'4 numbers. As I mentioned earlier the measurements at the combine will be big for him. If he measures out anywhere under 6'9 with shoes he could drop some. Now if he measures a legit 6'10 and he jumps out of the gym like I assume he will then it's not impossible he goes around 10.

He's kind of an easy player to nitpick because of the motor thing, but you're not going to find a more complete athlete in this draft. Length, bounce, soft hands, touch, mobility -- all that is unquestionable.

Somebody will fall. They always do. Not always to 17, though.

Unless somebody slips that far (or we can trade up for them), or Hunter surprises by declaring, I'm going with Melton. I know I'm projecting improvement since last year that might not have happened, but I'm comfortable enough with what I saw last year. I like both his floor and his ceiling. We've got to start getting guys who can play the whole game.

Yeah Melton definitely has that Donovan Mitchell potential feel to him

I like bigger Lowry as a comp (he's not as good a ballhandler though, even comparing freshman to freshman), and he's kind of similar to Holiday, but I think he was better at USC last year than Jrue was a freshman. But that kind of player -- plus feel/instinctual combo who can tune up his skills to be a full time point.

Guy we haven't talked about but who I love (generally and as a fit for us) is Gary Clark from Cincinnati. Great rebounder, makes the simple plays, developing into a good shooter, almost never screws up.

Curious what you think of Omari Spellman. Not exactly at 17, but at ~30-40? His jumper is super wet, he's improved his body so much from HS to College and is supposed to have a great work ethic, has decent feet defensively, good measureables. Seems like a decent stretch 4 prospect with a body to defend some 5's in small ball lineups.

Oh, I'm SUPER intrigued by him. Is he coming out though?

Declared, hasn't signed an agent. Keep in mind that he's a redshirt freshman and is nearing 21.

I was really impressed by his versatility, though. Rare you see a guy with his shooting ability who can also physically dominate a guy like Angel Delgado.

I like him fine at 17. Big body with work ethic with much better feet than you would think who is a GREAT shooter (at least from the corner). If he can play the 5 I love him at 17.

Man I would love to get our training staff on him for a year and see what he can do.

I was surprised he wasn't testing the waters after their tourney run. This makes more a ton more sense to me than DiVincenzo.

If I were a bucks fan I would be clammering for Zhaire Smith or Troy Brown. I like both those guys and both are high BBIQ players which I really like. However I would be praying to the basketball gods for Mitchell Robinson to fall into my lap.

Scratch Mitchell Robinson. In his interviews he seems kind of a "me first" type player which I don't like and not the kind of personality I would pick while trying to restructure the roster.

Mitchell Robinson in interviews reminds me of a certain guy who insisted on showering in socks.

Troy Brown is like a shorter Tobias Harris.

Jarred Vanderbilt testing the waters. He's not going to stay in, but I'd be very interested in him if he does.

At what range? I'm curious cause I doubt he can shoot. And if he can't shoot, I don't think he has much value. He might learn to shoot, but probably after his rookie contract.
