Yeah it's between him & Christopher for me.
The talent is apparent with both of them so I have major doubt they'd be there but exactly why I (along with I know bunch of others) want to trade Kyle (& Norm) for some picks to ensure we're at MINIMUM in that range. While we might not finish top 5 keep in mind teams move up ie/ when Lakers tanked to improve their draft stock to add to the AD trade they were like 12th pick or something according to the order of the draft but got into the top 4.
I love the minimum scenario being one of Christopher or Boston (whom I fully believe our developmental staff could turn into all star caliber wings) and the upside of the balls bouncing the right way and suddenly we might have true franchise changing potential with one of Cade, Green or Kuminga. Just praying we have a bad patch of games so management feels free to pull the parachute so we can take a step back to take 2 forward.

Jalen Green is the definition of the baby-faced assassin. He just seems a bit too nice in conversation, but he he is young. I see the Zach Lavine comp but I think out of all the prospects he is going to be a turnover machine. I don't see him as a guy making too many advanced reads. He just seems like a guy that will attack but not see the whole floor and not be able to make passes off the dribble.
I feel like Kuminga is an NBA ready wing. He just has a good frame and looks like he has everything you need. I kind of see him as a Justice Winslow / DeAndre Hunter type, which is easy to put into a rotation.
I feel both of these guys are a tier lower than Mobley and Cade, but they are still top five.

Is it a concern that Cade seems very right hand dominant? Or am I wrong on this point?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

There are a lot of big shooters and wings in this draft. Guys like Livers and Wagner are well known. One guy I am really impressed with is Trey Murphy from Virginia. He is 6'9" a greater shooter at over 50% and he plays defense on a team known for its tough defense. This guy was on Rice last year so he was less known, but this guys scream NBA potential. I see him like a Deandre Hunter from ATL.Spoiler:
Thanks. I think there is some Murphy buzz, I've seen him as high as 38th in mocks and in the 1st round for 2022, so yeah I could easily see him rising into the first round. He's been crazy efficient and has a positive A/TO even, so yeah maybe another Cam Johnson type?
I haven't seen more than a minute of him but Garuba seems like our kind of pick, if he falls to us.
Where's the D?

Not sure, but take a look at the game winner he just hit. He goes to his left and pulls up to sink the mid range shot.

Yeah Mobley isn’t a need pick he’s the best big man prospect since KAT (maybe best since AD). Would only take Cade over him

Interested to hear why you think Mobley is that level prospect?
I don't skill level of the aforementioned names. I know physically he moves well and quickly, I'll give him that. But I don't see any advanced post moves and a fairly rudimentary handle. Doesn't look great creating off the dribble or spotting up. Of course I do see some shooting touch and potential in time but I honestly don't see what makes him such a better prospect than say Jaren Jackson Jr??? Legitimately curious to know what I'm not seeing that makes him the level of prospect I see some others saying...

Elite level D as a ceiling. 3pt shooting touch, good passer and amazing advanced metrics - Albeit in college.
His ceiling is basically if mark gasol was an athletic freak.

How do his numbers compare to Jaren Jackson Jr??
I said Bosh earlier but actually I think I'm seeing a lot of JJJ who I think is an excellent prospect himself but more of a 2nd option ceiling and not a transcendent talent which I think AD is and KAT could be with the right coaching and development. They both seem far more skilled to me.

I don’t watch college ball religiously but from the highlights I’ve seen Mobley seems like the better passer and better defender compared to Jackson. Jackson has a better shooting touch. It’s a good comp tho. I’d be happy if he turned out as good as JJJ looks to be.
He probably won’t be as good as AD but I think he’ll have a higher impact than KAT at the NBA level due to his defensive versatility. KAT may be the best shooting big man we’ve ever seen and just amazing all around offensively but unfortunately if you’re not an above average defender as a big man I don’t think you can be a number 1 guy on a championship team in the nba.
Overall I think Mobley will most likely become a high end 2nd option. Which is great. I think JJJ can be a 2nd option but probably most suited as a 3rd on a really good team.

Well, his physical freakiness is obvious so I won't talk about that too much, I can see the Jaren comp but id say that Mobley is taller and more explosive while moving his feet just as well.
In terms of skill level, I couldn't disagree more with you, when it comes to teenage bigs Mobley is as skilled as they come, legitimately elite passer with instant-read and react ability both from the post and w/ live dribble (none of the bigs above can do this, athletic bigs are usually bad passers), his handle is great for a center but could be better for a forward. Right now he can attack closeouts, grab n go in transition, and has a fluid face up/short roll game, he's shown some ability as a PNR handler (which is absurd btw) but will def need to tighten his handle to do that in the NBA (it's okay he's 19). Elite footwork, he manages to maneuver through tight quarters with ease. I think the shotmaking is good with the potential to be elite (44% on long 2s rn), he's just extremely long and coordinated at his best only other freaks like AD and Giannis should be able to properly contest his shot.
Like look at this is ridiculous from a true 7ftr.
Spoiler:
Not a great 3pt shooter yet but shows flashes ( think the jumper needs minor adjustment and some reps), I think the FT shooting will come up because I believe in his touch. I'm not really worried about his skinniness but he's not gonna be a bruiser for sure. Combine that with him having all the tools to be an absolutely elite PnR big, (explosive and huge lob threat, handle, footwork and elite feel make him dangerous in the short roll, and the PnP will be there (first at Midrange and eventually out to 3). I think its important to remember that he's being held back by a terrible coach and system where they refuse to run the ball through their best player and he's working with limited spacing or else he looks way better than he already does.
The above doesn't even mention his biggest appeal which is his defense. Absurd rim protection ability (5.1 blocks per 100/ 2.8fouls) and ability to slide with perimeter players and play pretty much any defensive coverage with his tools and elite processing ability.
Mobley has everything you could ever want in a big man prospect. I def think he's the best one to come along since Davis.

Jackson Jr (rounding): 11ppg, 6rpg, 1apg, 3bpg, in 22mpg. Splits of 51/40/80
Mobley (rounding): 16ppg, 9rpg, 2apg, 3bpg, in 34mpg. Splits of 58/32/70

I doubt better defender than JJJ, averaged same bpg in less minutes. Jaren was one of the best defenders in college and if people aren't paying attention he's a damn good one in the league that I think if he returns close to what he's was pre injury he'll be all NBA level defender in time, so Mobley would need to be AD dpoy level defender to be better which maybe he is but I'd be surprised.
But I can see what you're saying as a passer which could make up for Jaren being the better shooter. Again personally I'm seeing a JJJ level player which yes is definitely excellent, don't get me wrong I'd LOVE to have a player like that as the back bone of the defense and can provide some scoring which would be like having a very rich man's Ibaka fitwise. I just think the team needs a go to scorer especially come crunch time which is why I favor Green and Kuminga in the same range and ofc Cade does it all (the dream pick). We can only pray Mobley is even an option so cheers to that.

A big man like Mobley doesn’t come around very often. A guy that has a shooting touch, believe me he will be elite defensively (as good if not better than JJJ. Great shot blocker and perimeter defender), great passer (very rare in bigs) and just a general freak athlete that can be a lob threat. Its the entire package. Only weakness maybe he needs to put on some more muscle to be a regular 5.
Green could be a great scorer but you can find 20 great scorers in the league. You could trade for Lavine if it comes down to it or something. There’s nobody like Mobley in the nba currently imo.
Obviously Cade is the dream.
Kuminga is the biggest project out of all of them. Although high ceiling too.

also wanna say that Jaren has not been a good defender in the league, pretty average so far. Major issues with positioning, fouling and rebounding.
His offense has been much better than expected but his defense is largely disappointing so far

All I can say is if Mobley is everything you and some other posters say then yeah he'd be right there with Green and Kuminga for me. If he's a KAT or AD level then he surpasses those 2 because that's a go to scorer and fulfills a need for a big.
Please lawd let us not make playoffs n somehow fluke into the top 5 lol genuinely believe the one step back would be a major couple steps forward long term.
