Wizards next opponent, Cleveland, beat the Miami Heat tonight 111-85. They are not the same team about bam adebayonate33 wrote:Ruzious wrote:
This is going to seriously hurt Miami. Is it fair to say that Miami is now a rival of the Wizards?
Ouch!
Bam is absolutely critical to everything they do. His ability to switch is why they're an elite defensive team, not an ordinary defensive team. This is going to cost Miami a lot of wins.

Grizzlies beat the Thunder by 73 points. 152-79. Not sure which team's performance is more impressive there.

Happy 27th birthday to Giannis - as he scores 27 points in 27 minutes.

Watching the Spurs-Suns, what a great game. CP3 is amazing... he can easily keep playing this till he's 40 barring health.
And Dejounte Murray is becoming a really good leader for these young Spurs...

Charlotte had 4 players out including Ball and Rozier, and they still nearly won, Kelly Oubre has finally found decent consistency with his 3-pointers and has been a key contributor to the Cats.

lakers fall to .500 losing by 13 to a Memphis team playing without their starting backcourt - including Morant. Westbrook gets a zero double while Lebron gets a trip dub. Lakers are what their record is. Still, a .500 record has a better chance of getting into the Western Con playoffs than it will in the East. And when you have Lebron and Davis, you have a chance of upsetting someone.

So far this season the play-in system really looks like a good idea. In either conference there doesn't seem to be much difference between the 7th through 10th seeded teams. The Sixers should be better than 7th, but they don't have Simmons.

Embiid being out with COVID messed their record up

Last night Nuggets undrafted two-way player Markus Howard torched the Spurs: 21 Min, 21pts - 7-15, 6-12 3PT.
The Wizards have backcourt/scoring problems that need to be solved by Tommy/Wes, even if it means benching people and turning the rotations upside down.

Jokic was unbelievable last night. 35/17/8 with a TS% of .715. Simply unreal! Check out the pass here:

Yeah he won the MVP and seems like he got better while other top players are struggling.
Sucks that Denver has been hit so hard with injuries. Fun team to watch.
