The most annoying thing about this for me was we made Darius Garland look so good. Yes whatever that other guy's name is randomly had a career night against us but we're the Heat. Scrubs lighting us up is par for the course.

But Garland being able to act like some top tier player just pissed me off to no end. And worse, you've now given him confidence for the rest of the series.

That is why Spo needs to play Larsson and Jovic. They both provide more offensive versatility. Wiggins hasnt been explosive since returning from the injury. They need someone else to provide offense.

Yea Tyler was awful tonight, but Tim is right about the Wiggins stan in general. He's done it every game, even the ones where Tyler is clearly dominating. It honestly is odd that every player fan we have exclusively chooses him as the scapegoat lol.

It’s on Spo to scheme around it, his offense is way too valuable to have him sitting. Same thing happened with Curry during the Warriors' run, they found ways to make it work.

He simply can’t be the 5th best perimeter player in this series. I think he responds and has a big game 2.

Coaching staff should've been prepared for the Herro hunt though. Can't really hide him because they will pull actions to force him to switch.

I would start mitchell next game.

Put him on spider.
Put herro on garland
Put wiggins on strus. Let him and bam be the help.
I'd rather let the cavs iso herro and have your best defenders in help mode than have to put herro into any kind of movement to shift the defense.

Don't play highsmith at 4.
Ware or slomo when the cavs play 2 bigs.

Yep, still remember when i saw duncan and herro play for the first time, they were both beyond bad playing defense, not much has change on that department.

It’s hard because this roster needs two defensive PG’s. We have one in Mitchell but we need a true starter who’s more than just a backup sparkplug.

It was clear as day that Clevelands plan was to fry Tyler Herro. They doubled him and hunted him every time. Someone needed to step up and outside of Davion, no one did.

I don't know how long you've been a Heat fan but think Thunder Dan defensively, that's what he reminds me of. Offensively he's that too, but without a bad back, so he can blow by his man for the finish occasionally.

Awesome I've only seem him in highlights I've been a Heat fans since Shaq and Wade teamed up.

Personally outside of Heat games and playoff games, I stopped watching any other NBA games for a few years now. The product just sucks and it's not fun watching 3pt shooting competitions where every team plays the same. Playoff basketball is still worth watching, but even that isn't what it used to be. Donovan Mitchell is one of my favorite players in the league, but I still couldn't bring myself to tune into a single Cavs game this year outside of the Heat matchups.
