Wasn't there a rumor that Von Wafer was gay? Not to disparage same sex people. That's the last I've heard of this guy.

Well, their other 2 teammates were not Ray Allen and Paul Pierce in NO.

Apparently, if the S&T for David West happens, the 3-way deal for CP3 can't happen financially...
And, if Stern allows this, after vetoing CP3 deal, his true colors are showing...

They have Allen and Pierce, with a good coach and GM.

What's sad is, we all just sit here and take it.
I'm one Dwight Howard trade away from being done with the NBA. So maybe I can start the revolution.

No this is total crap. Boston is over the cap. David West would have to sign for the mid level. No way he has leverage. This move reeks if its truly for J.O. .....I suppose I'll wait for more info, but this is just as bad as the cp3 trade. An over the cap major market team is getting to sign a border line all star with help from the league owned Hornets.

they'd need two time machines to turn back that clock.

According to Stern:
- Odom + Kevin Martin + Luis Scola + 1st Round Pick = DIRT
- Jermaine O'Neal = GOAT

I am thinking we should start a boycottthenba.com campaign.
I for one agree with Clevelands owner saying that 25 teams are the Washington Generals and the other teams are the Harlem Globetrotters.
The only thing I have to say is why even go to a Bucks vs Bobcats game ever again if I was a basketball fan. Better to go see a college game. It would be futile to root for a team with no chance in ever competing for a title.

This is what I have been saying since the Big 3 happened. That day will go down as the day the NBA started to die.

They still made it to the 2nd round without Paul, without West, without Okafor. Nd that series wasn't even over until Rondo broke his arm.. They get bigger, and better. How did the Magic do last year? I hope Larry Hughes finds that time machine you mention... nd LOL at our 2nd best playoff performer was amnestied today.. I love the same "time machine" jokes when they have outplayed us year after year with our amazing young talent...

How can that be that NO is that desperate to help d. west and go over cap which essentially stops their other trade to LA in which they would get a team full of high paid mid caliber players???

We're in for another doozy with this latest Hornets garbage move. When you're wishing you could have J Oneal on your team cause of the sweet trade you're gonna get, you know it's messed up.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part III)
C'mon ya'll, the Hornets are getting a big man, now the Celtics are going to have to deal with the hardships of not having a legitimate center. They might even be worse with D. West.
That's gonna be ESPN's take on this.
