No to Hunter. He was a good shooter in college (excluding his last year), but has been awful ever since. The release point on his jumper is low, he could get away with it his first two years in college, but then the defense keyed in on him and he couldn't adapt. And in NBA? Forget about it.

Yes, he will fill up the stat sheet this year. Playing time is the only concern.

If we're dumping Payne I'd like to pick up Bentil. He seems to have decent offensive potential.

Archie Goodwin getting waived is a surprise. He's not the best fit for us, but the Sixers or Nets would be crazy not to pick him up.

Bentil to IND

P.S. I eager to see what will be the first Layden/Thibs trade. My expectations are rather high!

(5-2) to end the season last year.

Time's ticking...

The pressure will be huge for whoever dares to make a game thread today.

None of the guys who got cut in the last few days (Hunter, Goodwin, Gee,..) got claimed. I'm a little surprised that the Wolves didn't drop Payne to to pick up someone.

Probably because they suck.

Not that Payne is any different but I imagine the FO doesn't view any of the waiver guys as worth paying Payne to go away and then giving these other guys a salary on top of it.

And that's the key.
