Yabs had a few good defensive plays. Not saying he’s good or a keeper, though maybe the Pats could use him on their line.

Yet, today, during our Spirit Week, I did it again, and made it till the end. Not sure how and I paid for it, but NBA players should be able to hit open shots. Never understood it.

Its mostly mental from what I understand. But I was always a terrible basketball player, mainly took it took the rim or shot 3s.

Oh of course I am being facetious. So much of any sports is mental. Probably more than 70% if you are athletic.

Maybe I'm just focusing too much on his missed boxout on Bridges. Seems like he needs to hit the three at a decent clip to stay in the league anemic I'm just not sure he will. His shot just looks the same as it did when he entered the league.

Also for you guys piling on Wanamaker and Semi, you guys realize that it's Wanamaker's first game right? And that Semi is shooting this badly in the preseason right?

I remember you guys were dumping on Shane last preseason until he proved to be decent; let's face it though, he had some games where you guys thought he sucked.

On Semi, remember that Smart shot like 40% from 3 last preseason? Yeah, that lasted real long, didn't it?

Semi has time to improve, thankfully.

Does anyone else think Hayward, Kyrie, Brown and to a lesser, more performance based extent, Tatum, played too many minutes for preseason?

I agree, but I am sure Brad disagrees. He must feel they need the reps.

Hayward I was I admit shocked was still in there deep into the third but if he is healthy and needs to get re-adjusted......I think Brad knows he needs the reps. I get nervous too btw.....

And no Gordon does not look FAT like a few Raptors fans said. I feel for Gordon and root for him so bad, he seems disappointed in himself talking after this game.

Personally I don't think Kyrie really gives a **** about preseason and half asses it at times but he seemed to try to get everyone involved late in the second.

The one I am most impressed with at times is honestly Jaylen Brown. Dude's a worker with a killer instinct who really wants this bad. I almost feel really bad I wanted to trade him for the dude with the serial killer laugh in Toronto.

Our ultimate little work horse is Rozier, you can run that kid into the ground in circles game after game and he does it. He mucks up at times but he tries. Dude's an athlete.

On a side note, I always loved the pairing of Al and Kyrie, they always had chemistry since day 1 IMO. I really REALLY hope we can get Al his ring......

The D will always be better with the one and only Marcus Smart out there who wasn't there.

And that big pass from Kyrie to Gordon before the half was killer!

I saw Yabs make a post up play for the first time in my life today. That's a good development. With his thickness he needs to have some post game.

Kyrie's hair and beard are glistening in his post game interview. It's the plant based diet effect.

20 minutes for your 20yo sophomore starter is too many for a preseason game? Why would that be?

Here in time for the box score--it looks like TRo picked up where he had left off last year?

I do hope Brown doesn't lead the team in attempts on the regular season...

His play was poor. Didn't seem worth it with more preseason games on the way to me, but I'm sure Brad knows better than I.

Seeing Tatum/Brown playing a lot doesn't bother me, those are young healthy guys.

I think people just thought Gordon/Irving were out there too long but hey.....they are healthy now!!! And they need to build up that stamina. I think it will take some fans a while to stop thinking about the Hayward injury from last October. And Hayward himself admitted he has to fix a lot of things. He was there deep into the third if I remember right.

I was in and out of the room where my tv is for this game, but I thought Brad did well managing Kyrie's minutes giving him a few breaks at times and bringing in Rozier.

T Ro did fine, a few off moments but classic Rozier that we know and love.

Brown I admit DOES seem to like shooting now. Well, they all seem to want to chuck at times.......

I know we're all chomping at the bit for Celtics games to dissect, but lets not forgot this is preseason game #1. They're working out the kinks. This team is going to be a dominant force come the regular season!

Great 1st half. Bad 2nd half.

Morris was our best player in this game.

I see Semi has been working on this shot. Come on Semi. Even though he was really active on the boards.

Semi and Wannamisser combined for 1-15 from the field. Main reason for the loss.
