Not so fast. They lose defence with Green gone, Bradley opting out, Rondo moving on, maybe losing KCP and Dwights shot blocking gone.

Matthews will replace Green by like 90%. Schroeder is an upgrade over Rondo (at least consistency wise) and KCP is for sure coming back. Besides the Nuggets series, Dwight was borderline unplayable too. And the Nuggets lost Grant, so theyre no longer a threat anyways.

Crazy how the West gets bad now that Lebron's there. Clips lose Harrell, which made them special (great bench), Nugs lose Grant, GSW is done, Harden wants out, no other real contender. Le-East about to be Le-West

If we extend OG, then we wont have a max spot available next offseason. We may be waiving the white flag!

With all the one year deals Miami did, its pretty clear where Giannis is headed.

75mil+ for Fred, OG, and Siakam is not appealing at all. Say we brought Lowry back that is likely around 30mil there. That is 105mil for a non-contender roster with a bunch of holes. Something has to give. There is a reason why paying Fred over 20mil was never a good idea for us.

That isn't even including Norm, Ibaka (if we re-sign), and our rookie deals and if we sign anyone this off season. This isn't a great situation to be in without having a star player. If we had a number one player then it would make much more sense. But we don't.

I know y'all love OG. But signing a guy who can't dribble, and has a career high 10.5 ppg to a 20 million dollar a year contract is absolutely insane.
