Re: Kai-Light Reel: The Kai Jones Thread
I also need translation, but looking at the tweet, Jones seemingly alleging he and Miles are hanging out in the wild zone.
I think it’s more insanity crap spewing from the mind of Kai, which is why Miles posted a pic of a glaring face challenging such stuff. Miles would have to be IMMENSELY STUPID to place himself into ANY situation that could even HINT of controversy (or worse).
Gotta get rid of Crazy Kai.

TMI sadly. I know I’m an oldie fogie, but offensive lyrics dehumanize…

I think we need to rename this tread at this point.
The Kurious Kase of Kai: The Kai Jones Circus is my suggestion

Re: Kai-Light Reel: The Kai Jones Thread
From someone who's been around it I wouldn't be surprised if Kai is bipolar. If he's going through a manic episode that would explain his behavior. He needs to see a professional and get some help.

I'm glad the Observer could finally get around to reporting at least something on it.

Re: Kai-Light Reel: The Kai Jones Thread
mitch's decisions on draft night, first round, 2021 might go down as one of worst days in franchise history.
the worst part, we still owe a first for kai, killing our trade flexibility on top of the obvious not having a pick

Re: Kai-Light Reel: The Kai Jones Thread
I tried defending him strictly based on potential a month or so back before all of this. With the way he had conducted himself has raised every red flag I can think of. He needs to get stable before he even touches a basketball court. I've dealt and deal with mental illness on a daily basis. His behavior seems like a desperate cry for help or attention. Team doctors need to bring him in and evaluate him. He needs to figure out what is causing his erratic behavior or he won't be in the league much longer. Eventually the athletic shine he has will wear off if he can't be stable and consistent in day to day life.

Pretty sure that was just me lol
I still have heartburn about doing anything based on social media posts, but I think calling out teammates even in jest is pretty dumb.
Guessing there's some stuff going on behind the scenes.

i mean, it was so much more than him calling out teammates. its was pure gibberish, manic, delusional stuff. it was posting all day, all night for 3 weeks straight. it was the crazy videos, like doing splits in a concrete parking garage, barefoot, in the middle of the night all while workouts were ramping up and his focus should have been on the upcoming season. none of it made sense.

That's the stuff I don't care about. No context videos of him acting weird don't bother me at all

You don’t see these as symptoms, as evidence of a significant concern?
How crazy must someone act out before it becomes something to care about? The Feds do BS raids on people for less on social media.
Kai is a grown adult who is supposedly a professional basketball player. This isn’t a club. If he can’t buckle down and demonstrate responsibility and discipline to his work and life, that’s a problem IMO.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Re: Kai-Light Reel: The Kai Jones Thread
If he was always acting weird, then it wouldn't be concerning.
But this has only been a recent thing, and his teammates responding to it makes it a bigger deal.
