I'm hoping this guy gets captured and arrested, not killed. I don't want to have to sit here and guess like we seem to have to with every other terrorist act. I want to hear it straight from the source why the hell he would ever do this.

Agreed completely. But the only way he comes out of this alive is if he's unarmed. And even then, if he makes a sudden movement or seems like he may be armed (even if he isn't), the police will take no chances -- nor should they.

Man, the internet has absolutely outdone traditional news networks in covering this. Crowd-sourced news via the internet is making networks like CNN and Fox look like dinosaurs.

the TV is becoming obsolete , these online sources dont have to care about accuracy as much as well

Agreed, they shouldn't take a chance just to keep him alive, but man I hope they can take him alive.

Sounds like he had two automatics that were lying on the street. Recovered by PD of course. Still believed he has something (grenades or something?) on him but not sure. They better take him alive.

Yeah, I have CNN on but it's been reduced to background noise thanks to reddit, the scanner and these forums.

It's all over twitter and reddit. 4chan identified one of the suspects hours after the FBI released their photos.

Exactly the same situation with me, but I got CNN on mute in favor of the scanners.
