Wow, that is recent, here is a 7-week-old video from 2 weeks after the incident! It's almost like Miami is keeping him off the court.

‎From the Miami practice, Alvaro Martin reports that Markieff Morris is very close to getting back into action for the‎ #Heat.

Or he’s on some sort of doctor mandated no contact until certain criteria of his recovery is met.

For real. Imagine having a 6’10 big next to Bam that can score and shoot 3’s while mobile enough not to be deemed a Spo liability. Wood is an 18 and 10 stretch big. That’s something we’ve been clamoring for as a compliment to Bam. I honestly think Tucker will have no problem coming off the bench while rotating in and out with Bam and Wood. Tucker came off the bench last year for Lopez and Giannis. Wood was also a team mate of Tucker and Dipo with the Rockets last year. I’m sure the front office may be asking them about Wood. If they cosign then it’s an absolute no brainer.

You know, I'd think that could be true if I hadn't seen him making some moves that put torque on his back and neck in his warmups before Miami games, nor him saying something on social media saying he'd be on the floor weeks ago. I think there's more to it then just holding him out for health reasons, then again, I think Miami uses that reason to hold players out longer to give Spoelstra less options. Avery Bradley comes to mind from last year being held out a lot, J.Johnson and Waiters the year before.

Adam from 5 reasons mentioned right after the 2020 free agency that Miami tried to get the good Morris brother before, offering him more but LA matched.

I dunno, I get a resounding 'meh' from this one. DRob and a FRP for Marcus Morris?

I guess we shed a few years of Duncan's salary and get a bit bigger, but Morris is 32 and been kinda average this year.

Yup we certainly have had interest in him and Miami likes to circle back with players they have missed out on in the past if they become available. He makes for a great fit at the 4 spot for us. Can even be mixed in at SF with Tucker in certain lineups. The Morris twins played with Tucker in Phoenix. They ran lineups of C Kieff PF Sr and Tucker. Not a bad small not small ball lineup.

Morris is not worth a 1st round pick lol

The Wood deal, 1 first rounder instead of 2 and it's a deal

I don’t mind giving up a protected pick for Morris. Many thought it was a joke the Bucks had to give the Rockets a first for whom many thought was a washed up Tucker last year.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/265613/Goran-Dragic-Drawing-Great-Interest-On-Trade-Market

Dragic was given permission to leave the team to tend to a serious family matter. Since that point, Dragic has not returned to the Raptors and the team has ramped up their efforts to trade him.

sounds familiar :sigh:

Herro…..

It's pretty apparent to me with Herro, lowest TS% of his career, TOs are up but he's shooting more this year so he's scoring more. Scoring 6th man is a good spot for him since he can have his minutes expanded or limited based on how he is that game, the issue current is Miami needs another guard to end games with which I hope/expect that to end up being Oladipo for the next 2-3 seasons.

I actually liked rookie Herro more then I like season 2 or season 3 Herro, he played off everyone else more vs holding onto the ball to create his own shot.

Exactly, he’s scoring more because of more shots! That’s literally it. He has people, especially on here, fooled. Good young scorer, when he isn’t doing that he hurts the team because he does nothing else.

He's currently 17.8ppg, dropped from last yrs 18.7ppg. His %'s have also dropped. Was hoping 22+ppg player this yr at least. I understand he's been injured. Can he be a 20+ppg career scorer. right now he's 12.8
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
