Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reported Tuesday that Ben Sullivan, Aaron Miles and Mike Moser are three Celtics assistants that are expected to join Udoka’s staff in Houston.

Ime cucking the front office again

The only thing I came out of that article with is the knowledge that the entire Celtics coaching staff is like 35 avg aged.

No wonder they suck.

lol I've said it looked like the robbed the cradle with their staff a couple times this season. Not that age is everything, but man yeah. We are lacking on the sidelines. My only hope is the Joe really is a good coach and he has time to implement a real offense in training camp.. You know, maybe use Tatum as a screener once and a while even.

Celts were already soft in these playoffs. Ayton would only add to that softness

If having guys like Smart or Horford can't get these guys to play "hard", then maybe nothing will.

$10 says Miami gets Pritchard then he proceeds to light us up the next five years
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
I'm sure he does, but bit role players don't get to decide their situation while under contract. Sorry Prich.

Plus, if one of Smart, White, or Brogdon are moved suddenly minutes could really open up.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics used Pritchard to get a draft pick in this year's draft. Charlotte? Indiana? Utah?

Some pick between 26-30.

Replacing Rob Williams with Ayton seems like an upgrade in toughness considering Rob's always hurt.

PP isn't good enough IMO to go to the media and say he wants to be traded. Boston won't get much for him, maybe a second round pick.

How about this 3 team trade:

Raptors trade: Pascal Siakam, OG Anonoby

Raptors get: Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, Sam Hauser, #3 pick

Celtics trade: Jaylen Brown, Robert WIlliams III, Sam Hauser

Celtics get: Pascal Siakam, Jusuf Nurkic, #23 pick

Portland trades: Shaedon Sharpe, Anfernee Simons, Jusuf Nurkic, #3, #23

Portland gets: Jaylen Brown, OG Anonoby, Robert Williams III

Celtics do a little shake up while staying in contention, Raptors do a rebuild, Portland builds a contender around Dame

We already have a pick in this year's draft. The 35th pick. Not much difference between the talent available in the 26-30 range and the talent available at 35.

I think our best bet if trading Pritchard is either:

-A future 2nd rounder (I think the next 3 drafts after this one, we don't have any 2nd rounders)
-A bench player who is similar in talent to Pritchard, but will be happier in a lesser role..and might fill more of a need on the team
-A small TPE

You are not getting a bench player for Pritchard only, a small TPE is absolutely worthless. It's either a draft pick this year or a draft pick in another year.

Miami was rumored to be after Grant. I could see him turning into a beast in Miami as they know how to use personal.

He's not good enough defensively to stay on the court. He'll def put up good numbers in a smaller market though.... I wish we kept Neismith instead TBH

Cheap role players shouldn’t be hard to find. (If Miami could do it, why can’t you?) Creating a system and making players play a certain way where these role players could thrive might be the harder task.

To me the age is important because there a few of them, Joe included that if they were any good at the sport they was coaching they'd be playing. That's how young they are.

Brad is gone as soon as his contract is up. It's the only reason he wasn't fired in the first place.

Not that Brad hasn't done a really good job, but If you're gonna commit to Horford, Joe and the terrible twos of Jay and Smart then you get what you deserve.

They were enabled to shoot the 3 this year so hard that it's gonna be impossible to pull that out of their DNA.

Interesting quote, makes you think Pritchard could possibly stay and someone else could be moved in my opinion.
