The most maddening thing here for the Rockets is that the Warriors are clearly selling out on the 3pt line for, like, 3 shooters (Fred, Green and even Brooks). You just needed to keep setting high screens and moving the ball and take your chances with the paint rotations. Yet they spent so many possessions with, long, laborious probing drives leading to tough 2s anyway. Combo guards can't help themselves

FVV's effectiveness all this time depended on Sengun...

Also the reason they’re gonna lose. Again I’m not sure why people love him so much. He had 2 good games this series. He also sucked for the rest of it including a pivotal game 7. Highest paid player on the team, no blame for them losing

If you think he’s the reason they’re gonna lose, you’re either not watching the game or have no idea what you’re watching.

Sengun played the worst game he’s played in the entire series tonight.

lol always blaming someone else. Let’s ignore Fred’s **** offensive performance but blame another low scorer. Advanced stats defense blah blah. My god man between varsho and fvv I swear your favourite players are so underwhelming.

You realize that if the raptors had demar instead of kawhi they probably don’t win the championship that year right? I’ll let you guess why… and i guarantee it’s not because of defense…

I mean fvv is their highest paid player he should probably be carrying them no?

Not exactly realistic for an unathletic 6 ft guard to carry an entire team.

You do realize that FVV isn’t even in the top 2 of Houston’s leading scorers, right? That they are entirely dependent on both Sengun and Green to score in the half court? And that neither one showed up at all?

No, of course you don’t know that because your only agenda here is to bizarrely hate on a player that won a championship for this organization.

And if FVV wasn’t on the Raptors, they definitely don’t win that title. That must eat away at you every day.

No, instead we get to watch terrible basketball for years on end (but not too terrible to get a high pick capable of changing the direction of the organization of course, can’t have that)

like I said about this rockets team, this is shades of the we the north raptors. Hard working, good defense and team chemistry, great for regular season. no superstar talent to carry in the playoffs. It was obvious they weren’t doing **** in the playoffs when you’re relying on fvv to carry you. He is who he is, at some point people need to realize how he caps a teams ceiling. I’m not gonna say he sucks. I’m sure he does all the things everyone says he does. He’s just never gonna win anything in this role.

Return to Toronto Raptors
