Bynum is the only possible asset being discussed that has the potential to be an elite player.

If we are considering this deal from LA Clippers, I'm going to cringe!

It is true that we have a need in those exact positions (PG, SF, and C), but Caron Butler is old and locked for 2 more years, and DeAndre Jordan isn't half the player DEFENSIVELY that Dwight is (let alone offensively)...

i still think a trade with the jazz would be great.

Magic get: Jefferson, Harris, Bell, Millsap, murphy

Utah get: Dwight, Turk, Jrich, rights to fran, Rhyno.

magic get 4 Talented Expiring contracts, a Disgruntled SG and Murphy whos a good scorer.

It's Kyler. That immediately makes it questionable.

Get me a 3 team deal where we get Bledsoe, Jordan, and Evan Turner and I'll be a happy camper.

kyler or not, it doesnt take a genius to figure out what the clippers will offe you... it wont be paul or griffin because thats who they are trying to pair dwight with, so what are the next best assets? jordan, bledsoe, and picks... butler makes the salaries match up...

Are people (a) thankful the Nets made the Gerald Wallace trading, getting ride of the #6 overall pick in this year's draft -- making it unlikely the Magic trade Dwight there; or (b) pissed the Nets squandered the little assets they had for Dwight?

Rome wasn't built in a day. Turner and Bledsoe are legit young talents.

Bynum is the only possible asset being discussed that has the potential to be an elite player.

The Pistons did not have a superstar on their roster when they won not too long ago.

people need to stop riding that train... for every 2004 pistons team, there are 59 other teams or so that have won with elite stars

I'd role with that but I don't think neither team will give up their youth and not get back Dwight.

I'm thankful. Nets fans during the deadline were so cocky thinking they were getting Dwight. They're legitimately one of my least favorite teams now.

Indy is probably going to take one of camby or kaman once they decline matching hibbert's contract. I'm down for a defensive center with a little offensive game and a 10-12 mil contract.
