Smashing teams? Heading to 4,5 seed is hardly what i would consider smashing teams. That's the high ceiling for this team.

He's fair, that's why I asked for his opinion. Nowadays, he doesn't go into full homer mode over players (i'm guilty of this). He was one of the biggest melo homers last season (no offense ib78!).

Listen you schem... I've been a fan of the team longer than you've been alive. So don't tell me what bandwagon I need to jump on or jump off of.

Injuries don't affect body language or a player playing tight and nervous... If my analyzation of the team was me being a "debbie downer" (real original) you're in for a rude awakening. I was being absolutely fair.

None taken... I'm still a fan of Melo's game always will be. He just needs to take that next step and sacrifice what it takes to lead the team to wins.

like i said it was the media and hating fans that were blaming him for the teams lack of success, which had little to do with him despite the fact he was struggling through injuries which affected his game.

like i said, i don't want to see you flip flopping when knicks are curb stomping teams and saying "if we can maintain this we can go far in the playoffs"

stick to your prediction. we'll fight for the 5th seed  and get bounced in the 2nd round by the pacers

According to this email I got, I've won the British National Lottery for 100 million pounds. Is it too late to pay for Lin's lux tax?

if you really are an old timer i understand your point of view. "i'll believe it when i see it" type of deal and that's fine. but i believe the knicks were good enough to be a 4-6 seed last year if woodson was the coach from day 1. when you factor in actually having a training camp this year... the prospect of stat being healthy and regaining form, melo playing at an elite level, the pieces we added in kidd and camby... the only way i see the knicks being worse than a 4 seed is if everything goes wrong like it did last year in terms of injuries and what not or if somehow teams in the east get drastically better.

as of right now i don't see any team in the east other than the heat as clearly being the better team. you could argue boston and the bulls if rose was healthy but he's not. knicks could potentially be the 2nd seed if everything works out the way it should.

My Freudian analysis of the guy: He's a deeply repressed homosexual who's attracted to big, strong, athletic black men. Nothing wrong with that, only problem is his psychological insecurity, latent and manifest, collaterally cause significant pain and suffering for a large number of people. I'd also be surprised if this fetish wasn't resultant of a deep self-hate and insecurity of his own physical disposition (short, fat, and white) and natural inclination towards self-empowerment by surrounding himself with, and controlling those representative of his deepest fetishes and fantasies. Our collective misery is the coagulation of Dolans id.

Just amazing RT @KnicksFanBlog: Since James Dolan took over, the Knicks have more losses than any other franchise in the NBA.

that sums it up.

Too bad Dolan thinks he is a basketball genius and smarter then everyone else....

Shocking how people still defend this idiot

Their last and only argument in "He's always willing to throw out the $$" is gone too

Dolan can make a fan out of me if he sells the team. But I still won't forgive him. ;)

Right. Because if Dolan sells the team the Knicks are still missing Lin, and have to rely strictly upon Felton. So we gain nothing. Except maybe smarter moves in the future.

The kind of GM Dolan needs is an SOB with an ironclad, insanely long contract, and hence not afraid of being fired the day after signing it. He needs somebody who is going to challenge him, and tell him to go back to hurting people's ears with his music, whenever he gets out of line.

Yes, that IS the type of GM Dolan should have, BUT clearly he will never ever hire such a person!
