Even with Jokic’s lack of mobility on D there were way too many turnstiles on the Nuggets. Oh and AG sold the game with his poor offense. I’m not sure he locked anybody down on defense either. Denver should have just kept Hampton and Harris

It’s funny how the narrative is that Joker has no help when Curry just won the game and the 2nd highest scorer on his team had 15 points. At least Nugs had Cousins go off for 19 in 15 minutes.

Jokic is an amazing player. That team had no business being the playoffs but he dragged them there. Jokic dove the bus but the bus riders are homeless.

That is pretty disengenious. That Warriors roster isnt just stacked at the top, they have unbelievable depth.

Damion Lee almost certainly would be getting 20mpg if on Denver. He got 9 minutes the entire series for the Warriors.

And this isnt to take anything away from Curry, who was unstoppable. But to give credit to that Front Office. They built a team of playoff level depth role guys seemingly overnight. And they have youth.

They are just the class of this league, with Miami close behind and running their team in a strikingly similar way.

I can't tell if you're legitimately asking this, but I will assume you are:

In Game 1, Steph played 21 minutes, was 5/13 for 16 points and the Warriors won in a blowout.

For the series the Warriors have two players beside Curry who averaged over 20 points a game (Klay and Poole), 8.5 and 7 points more than any non-jokic Nugget respectively. The Warriors' 4th leading scorer averaged the same as the Nuggets second leading scorer. Plus, the fifth leading scorer/last member of the Nuggets best lineup led the team in rebounds, assists, and is one of the greatest defenders of his generation.

On the other hand, Jokic led the Nuggets in points, assists, rebounds, steals (Gordon pipped him for blocks), and - for all the criticism from some folks had the lowest defensive rating on the team (tied with Cousins). Steph led the Warriors in points and steals and had the 7th lowest defensive rating (excluding Moody who barely played).

If you aggregate stats into games scores, Jokic leads both teams with an average game score of 25.9, then FIVE Warriors are on the list before the next Nuggets. The difference between Steph and his second most statistically productive teammate is 3.8. The difference between Jokic and his is 14! That's more than the gap between Steph and the sixth best Warrior.

So if you're trolling, congrats, you got me to look up the stats and write up a long post. If you're not, well I don't know what to tell you: Here is the evidence that Steph currently has better teammates than Jokic.

I do see that you conveniently left out any mention of Curry getting his teammates wide open shots due to his gravity. Also, stats don’t tell the tale of how terrible Joker was at the end of games on defense. We all saw Curry hunt him down and cook him at the end of games.

What were Curry & Jokers plus/minus numbers? Oh you left that out too? Shame

There are four players who can excel without hogging the ball and all of them played in this series.
Curry, Thompson, Green and Jokic would be on my 2022 NBA Dream Team. I would add healthy Kawhi Leonard to complement them.
I should be on Lacob payroll...
