Hmm not sure what to think here. He's spoken very highly of so that's good and he can shoot. Don't really like to get injured players but I guess can look at it like he's one of those guys from Europe that are stashed for awhile over there.

I haven't see before the injury he was projected this high. The FO might be trying to overthink things.

Good player for what he does, but hate that style of ball. Another undersized pf and further logjam with AG and JI. I wanted 3pt shoot5ng, but at sg. Even wanting outside shooting, Lit5tle would have been a gift. Maybe AG for Garland? At least it would make more sense.

Pels got NAW then, yeah? Nice, that could be a good fit for him.

Analytics had Chuma at #2 in this draft. I like math. Let's go.

ive been "meh" on this a whole draft. All i can say is that this okeke really reminds me of tobias harris. if he can become that then thats im fine with that

Saying we “need” a backup PF feels like a cheap rationalization. He might not even play this season. I do like his skillset though. I was interested in NAW/KPJr and neither of those guys are sure things though so we’ll have to let it play out

Acting like NAW aka "Courtney Lee" was going to be a franchise savior or something.

Chuma is probably not even playing this year, and we have a need for a backup PF. When he comes back, he probably won't be playing more than 20 minutes (and we have a need for a backup PF), so it doesn't mean we need to kick anybody off the team. We still have Fultz who we have traded for as our future PG and we don't know if we'll re-sign Ross yet or what will happen with Fournier or if he's traded.

So while it would have been GREAT to find a miracle scorer, if we didn't think they were there at that spot.. well.. don't settle for a guy you think has limited guard upside and try again in the next draft or in free agency or a trade.

So people are insufferable for wanting to take a guard instead of drafting another PF on a roster already loaded with FC players? Don't see it. Especially when a guy like NAW fits a need and was arguably the BPA. Chuma was mocking out in the second round. It just is mind boggling that we would take him here.

Tell me where Chuma fits next to Isaac/AG/Bamba. Is Isaac going to start at SG? I get saying the likelihood of us drafting a starting player at 16 was unlikely, but this draft had real potential starting level guard talent. I'd say it's understandable why someone would be upset after drafting him there.

I can only assume that they know Fultz is coming back and coming back strong.

I don’t think a miracle scorer is what Nickiel is. It’s just that I would of liked the Magic to add someone who could contribute this season. Especially if we are trying to go back to the playoffs. The direction of the club and this pick is just confusing. Hopefully it works out

Jarrell is going to have someone to push him later this season or next.
