Our last pick is going to really be a wildcard. Or it'll be traded. I'm standing by Myles Powell.

Even if total talent is a bit less, the roster makes significantly more sense now. Simmons-Curry-Green-Harris-Embiid has a very similar feel to the Simmons-Reddick-Covington-Saric-Embiid lineup that led the league in net rating over a full season.

Ah, and Skylar Mays, another great role player potential SG, goes the next pick. Oh well.

I kind if love Isiah Joe, I just do.
A little Korver-esque, perhaps.
Plus love guys with two first names.

There must be something else happening. We are overloaded with shooting guards.

Re: 2020 Draft Night Thread
I have no problem with Joe. Honestly, in the last 2 years they have been very good in finding 2nd round potential gems. So I won't question their decisions here.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

We obviously have too many guards and not enough size...I'm sure more moves are forthcoming

We've been following him a long time in the draft threads, he's a long shot to succeed but his outstanding skill is very translatable to the modern NBA.

Second year in a row, Elton’s promises were reported weeks before the draft. And we spent the night fixing his mistakes from last year... and he is still in our front office lol
