I think he's gotten back to playing the way he did as a rookie, more read & react.

Last year we were basically playing him like Ingram, asking him to score in the iso and he just doesn't have the bag for that. That's not a knock on him, even a guy like LeBron isn't someone that you really iso for a bucket for the most part, he's not Kobe or MJ that can get to their spots & kill with footwork etc and obv Scottie isn't close to LeBron as scorer. Both are better suited to reading & reacting on the fly

And has gotten waaay better defensively, seems like he finally understands his strength isn't pressuring the ball for steals & turnovers...he's better staying in front, contesting, maybe reach for a steal as his guy gets closer to the basket but he's not taking those silly big chances high on the perimeter then getting blown by on. Just being solid has made him way tougher to score on when he's also being more physical with them them (I swear that's something he picked up this year *ahem CMB influence). But yeah he's looked all-star level this season, it's nice to see that guy back *knock on wood.

Refs letting Cleveland play super physical and aggressive around the rim. This is wild to watch. They just throwing body checks out here haha.
