You've literally been a fan of every Hammond addition besides bringing back Ersan this season, and you were wrong about that. Maggette, Salmons, Jackson, Jefferson, Skiles etc etc. I wouldn't act like you are batting 1.000.

I am batting as close to 1.000 as anybody. I just don't have desire to go point by point for all those moves again. As explained many times Maggette, Jackson and so on are our desparate attamts to find our Rasheed/Randolph because MILWAUKEE Bucks doesn't have many ways to add elite talent unless it comes with baggage. Skiles was good for this franchise. Before Skiles we were mess and in dictionary "playing no defense" had "see Milwaukee Bucks" next to it. He is drafting well, he is not overpaying our own free agents (Salmons had to be re-signed) like Harris did (see Mo, Redd vs Bogut, Ersan). He let them go rather then overpay (CV, Sessions) and trade them before other teams see they are done (Bogut, Rj etc).

Actually, we really only have one realistic way to add elite talent to our roster because of the difficulties presented by our location -in relation to other larger cities-, climate, and market size, but the way u mention that I highlighted above isn't it at all. The only realistic method at our disposal for acquiring elite talent is drafting and developing that talent, which is curiously exactly what the plan was supposed to be with Tobias Harris up until the point our r*tarded GM went and TRADED HIM TO THE MAGIC FOR A 28 YR OLD ROLE PLAYER WHO IS A FREE AGENT IN TWO MONTHS AND WE HAD THE CAP SPACE THIS OFFSEASON TO SIGN WITHOUT HAVING TO TRADE ANYTHING FOR!!!

Somehow Flip Murray needs to be part of this thread. Different situations but something the Hammond guys should cite.

Hammond clearly disagree with you about how much future Harris has. And I agree with Hammond. In Harris I see streetball player who can put stats but nothing else. Considering that Hammond has good history with giving up on young players that this board like, I feel safe here.

And Redick is here to stay. We will have beter chance than other teams to sign him because we can offer one more year and more guaranteed money. Plus he will already be familiar with town and team. He is not here just for this season. He is here to stay.

My boy DD put up 34 on 53% shooting and 14-15 from the line. Hes looking like a keeper more than Harris even...

Murray was 24 when he first started contributing at all (and it was pretty crappy production). If comparisons are going to be made shouldn't they be with guys that are 20 years old? I guess people wanting to downplay the excitement many here are doing over Tobias, but the biggest reason for the hype is the skillset at such a young age. If Harris was 24 like Flip or Sessions, there would nearly be the emotional outpouring like there is here. You just don't toss away 20 year old potential like that for 1/3 of a season of a slightly average SG.

Using "20 years old" as a argument make sense when that 20 years old has body of 20 years old players. Then you can say that with time he will get more strength or more confidence. Harris already has perfect body and unlimited confidence. With age his body may become slower actually (if he get some fat) and when other teams see how he play there will be book on him. Right now people don't know what to expect and don't prepare for him (altough those teams would not prepare anyway). In short, this is best Harris we will ever see IMO.

You also guaranteed that Curry was done as a player last year during the Bogut trade thread and ridiculed posters for being upset about not getting Curry instead. How does prediction look now?

From that thread

Sigra wrote:So package A was Biedrins, Udoh and Curry (who is probably done)
and package B was Ellis, Udoh and Brown

And some people cry about our choise?

Curry is done people. Brown is expiring and Biedrins is not.

This forum is now really bad. It's so sad :(

It's true. The Warriors offered Curry to the Bucks. Hammond turned it down.

Hammond = inteligent man

You pumped that trade to the end of days calling it a brilliant win-now move and praising Hammond to no end while disparaging most other fans who hated the move. Well the results came in last year and the Bucks missed the playoffs and Curry would have proven to be a MUCH, MUCH better option than Ellis.

This is good stuff. I'm sorry you'll be missing out on watching Harris's perfect body.

Even with two of them being blowouts, Tobias's box scores look unreal after three games.

Wait for book. Yi looked great at start as well. Then people made book on him and learned how to defend him.

Harris has looked much better on a CONSISTENT basis than Yi did. Look at Harris' career numbers. You're rationalizing, as usual.

A streetball player may be by far the WORST assestment of Tobias Harris' game. You should probably just stop posting and go back to playing video games or something.

If the general consensus amongst us fans is that the Bucks have the most backwards front office what makes you think the players are just lining up to play for the bucks in their free agency. I am almost certain JJ doesn't come back without us throwing way more money than anyone else at him.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
