his stats with Memphis were decent... could suffice as a decent swingman off the bench. Memphis also had the only roster in the league where Lance could appear relatively sane... so maybe that helped

Lance Stephenson is a lot easier to appreciate when he's on a team you aren't cheering for, sort of like Ricky Davis or Nick Young. I mean the plays below are awesome, but if the stuff below happened on the Wizards...

If we sign Ryan Anderson, I think this is my order of preference for back up Cs:

1 - Dewayne Dedmon (RFA)
2 - Cole Aldrich (UFA)
3 - Trade for Jeff Withey
4 - Timofey Mozgov (UFA)
5 - Zaza Pachulia

Hell I don't know how realistic it is, but Hibbert could be a good get. See if he can recapture some of what he was in Indy. But only if he isn't too expensive.

Nah, I expect him to get starter's money from somebody that misses out on Howard/Whiteside/Horford. Same goes for a guy like Mahinmi. Not the max, but if Biyombo gets something in the $12-15 range, then the youngish guys in the next tier are going to get around $10M IMO.

For a backup C, even in this new cap economy, I'm still looking at MLE-sized deals as the target. That means I would agree with looking in this tier:

Horford is a free agent for the first time in his career.

Drafting Kwame Brown instead of Pau Gasol* (or anybody else in that draft)
Passing on the proposed trade of Miami's #5 pick (WADE)in 03 for Kwame and the #10 pick


I would focus on solid basketball players, around the age of 24, that can play mutiple possitions...DUH!

Almost certain to be better than Darrell Arthur. About all you can say for him. Last season was his best, and it was pretty awful.
