To be honest, Masai is a wizard. Some of the absolutely atrocious contracts being given out will destroy cap space for many teams. Raptors will be free to pick up a disgruntled player on a huge contract and get many picks in return. Also, we don't have any money so there's that

Someone explain to me how these NBA teams are offering they're starting 5 max contracts and still staying under the cap. Collins for 125. What the heck.

Nba is a soft cap system. You can go over the cap when re-signing your own players and as long as you’re under the luxury tax line you’re good.

NBA has a soft cap, almost all teams are over the cap.

Yeah I wouldn't mind offering something to Lauri.

We need offense and we need a big. Only thing is I can't see him coming here for the MLE.

Miami is no longer in control here. We can ask for more and still trade him on Friday or Saturday or anytime before the season or during the season.

I understand doing right by Kyle and we did that with the SnT - we are obligated to nothing as far as Miami the team goes.

Pony up or tell Kyle Lowry & your fan base & the league that hero held up a deal for Lowry. A player who's currently noteven expected to be in your starting 5
