not ideal, but assuming McLemore, Shabazz, Oladipo, Porter are all off the board, what else is there to fortify the backcourt? I think McCollum is the best option in that range.

If McLemore and Oladipo are gone I'd rather the Wolves draft one of the project bigs like Gobert, Len, Austin, or maybe even Olynyk and get stick a Kyle Korver type at SG.

I think Olynyk could be a cool draft choice, he could play PF with Pek and C with Love. While the defense would not really improve any, or at all, the floor spacing would be great.

Unless the player projects as a future starting center, i wouldn't want to draft him that high. Sounds like Norel might be just as good as Olynyk and great for that type of role.

McCollum reminds of Gilbert Arenas befor ehe lost his game. i wouldn't be surprised if he goes top 10.

I just realized this guy's system has the potential to make me lose my Andre Hollins bet w/ J Rocka. I don't think that's fair.

i'll bet you 19 billion dollars that he's not drafted in the top 40

Bet.

He'll definitely go in the 1st round. I could see 18-24. If he has more games like he did last night, then we'll revisit.

Dang. 19 billion dollars? Devils might have to take out a loan or something.

Not the best night for me to make my argument, but I'd consider Dieng at our pick if the top guards are gone.

I'd do that as well. I'm hoping Gary Harris declares though, he would be there for sure.

We are more likely to get him with the Mem pick. But I agree, I'd want him as well. There are a couple good backup C prospects around the Mem pick, so I hope we either get a good guard in the draft, or just trade it for a good player if the good players are gone. I think Glen Robinson III could be considered as well if he declares.

I don't see any way he lasts until 25. He will go late lotto.

Wichita St got screwed.

at least 2 of those 3 second half turnovers during that quick stretch were fouls, the double foul was ridiculous, as was the jump ball call.

You never know. NBADraft has him going to us at 26, while Draftexpress have him at 20, but in a list that does not include Robinson III, Hardaway Jr, G. Harris and Mitch McGary, who might all declare. These mocks are even before todays lackluster game on his part.

There are a lot of good potential backup C's in the Mem Pick range though. Dieng, Withey, Austin, Gobert, McGary, Adams, Nogueira. Lots of good potential picks. I'm thinking this will be a pretty deep draft. Withey looks like a good pick as well. He is in the late first round range, but he has size, athleticism, good at finishing near the rim and has a major defensive impact being a blocking machine, who doesn't really foul much. He has limited upside however, and is 22 years old, so he is obviously not a pick that can heap the highest reward.

I prefer Dieng though, because he also has nice passing ability that would be good in Adelmans offense, as well as great potential.

What I want for our own pick (8-11 range)

If they fall:

Oladipo
Burke(Trade with Utah for Hayward?)
Porter
Shabazz

If they declare:

Gary Harris
Robinson III

Safety picks:

McCollum
Zeller

adetokunbo reminds me a bit of boris diaw. apparently he is still under contract for a few years with affordable buyout options each year. that's kind of important because there will be limited minutes (assuming a healthy roster) and it allows the team to take a peek at some of our other international prospects.

unfortunately i doubt he will be available at #26. it would not surprise me if he drastically shoots up in mock drafts in the near future. a prospect with potential and versatility will stand out in this years weak draft.

I think he'll rise similar to how Biyombo did.

I think he's a year or two away from the NBA, though, so that might keep him from rising too far.

nikola mirotic last until pick 23 knowing he would not be in the nba for a few years at least and he was a hell of a lot more proven and exposed that giannis is. still i think someone will take a flyer on him in the late teens/early twenties.
