meh, i would have given it to Osby. It's summer, so there should not be a sweater vest. Maybe it should be a visor or a victory speedo to the best player.

lol sure there will be arguing. It's the realgm message board...and some thought we wouldn't have things to talk about.

I think Oladipo could become a really good PG in the mold of a young Gilbert Arenas if it works out. With much better defense, of course.

He may not put the same volume of points that Agent Zero did back in the day, but his approach to the PG position really struck me as being similar.

If Arenas, Tony Allen, and Barbosa had a baby...

There is so much arguing going on because some people are just straight dumping on people who criticize Oladipo or Henny. It's getting a bit out of control. There is just a level of one-sideness that isn't really in the spirit of online debate. People who criticize them either get called haters or are told that they aren't allowed to rush to opinions.

I think it's pretty pointless to have so many one-sided conversations in here, we should be allowed to criticize players, coaches, and GMs in here, especially since just about everyone who has done so has written some lengthy reasons to why they are doing so. It's not working the other way around though in some cases.

Oladipo - Great game, most noteworthy was the 3pt shot, looked good, knowing how hard he works, I don't think his shot is gonna be a problem. Not sure he's our answer at PG though

Osby - Looks to be another great 2nd round pick by Henny! Wow, really impressed! What is his position though? It looked like he was playing PF, guarding the big men of Boston.

Harkless - Definetly looks bigger, but seemed like old Moe, didn't notice anything different but it was tough to judge

Nicholson - horrible game, still can't defend, and missed almost every shot. He made some nice moves though, hopefully he bounces back because he's supposed to be destroying these guys.

O'quinn - Quietly had a good game, don't mind him being our 1st big off the bench.

Lamb - Didn't notice him much, but he hit his shots. We know he can do that.

Jones - I didn't notice him at all besides the great alley-oop dunk, and offensive foul. I wonder if he'll make the team this year

Yea DQ Jones is just so raw right now. Great frame and can jump out of the gym but the rest of his game really needs work.

Dang, Buycks had a great game for OKC, 12 points and 13 dimes with only 2 turnovers.

I wonder how many more good summer league showings from Osby it will take to prompt the "Does Osby make Harris expendable?" thread.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

 love the over reactions to one summer league game. Vic obviously doesn't have the feel for being a pg in the NBA but I thought he did a good job improvising in that roll today. I still think best case scenerio he'll be a secondRy ball handler and not a full time pg. I think he's a willing passer and not so much a playmaker.

I ha a feeling osby was going to be good. Decent size and skill set, he goes hard and can even stretch it out beyond the arc. I don't think he's as good as Harris but they're very similar IMO.

I thought victor played very well and showed more than we all thought he could in his first ever game as a pg. I don't know if he's our long-term solution there, but it looks like the magic took a gamble on the best most talented "guard" in the draft regardless of position rather than pigeonholing ourselves into only selecting a position of need. If we would have taken the best pg in the draft, Burke, he would be a stretch at no.2. But by taking oladipo we get a better talent who at worst could fail as a pg and move back to his old position of shooting guard once we fill the need at pg through the draft, a trade or free agency.

Agree. I hate the word "hater", so cliche. Pointing out a player's weakness or not sold on them doesn't make one a "hater".
