Serious question. Is Carmelo the most polarizing figure New York sports has seen in recent decades? I was thinking a rod. But I really don't believe he caused as much divide as melo has up until now.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer insincere guy.

LALA is taking him to the cleaners. Melo won't opt out because he'll need every red cent.

Unbelievable. I feel like what little protection and courtesy the NY tabloids gave him as the star of the Knicks is gone. Once it became clear he was on his way out, all bets were off. Everybody's talking.

Melo lives his life off the court exactly how he plays on the court. Selfishly.

most Yankee fans like Arod. Him going beast mode in the playoffs in 2009 did that really. It's the rest of the sports world, especially the media at the time, that hates him.

i disagree, Yankee fans are split 50/50 over Arod, especially after he sued the MLB, MLBPA and Yankees doctors... to answer Kane Arod is in a whole other category

That's not the read I get at all. Especially when he came back the following year after getting suspended and helped them get into the playoffs. At the time he was pretty divisive, especially before the ring. But now, I say most Yankee fans like him.

Oh Greenie.

Notice I said human. I never said men. Women cheat too and often. This is what humans do.

I don't like it either way.
I stayed single because I wanted to fuq around. I did me to the fullest.

When I met my husband **** changed. I was ready.

I think we might be related.

How hard is it to divorce someone you don't love anymore. Or why fake the commitment in the first place? I would divorce my soon-to-be wife before cheating on her. There's a level of respect and expectation set. If you can't abide by it, break up. If you can't afford to go that route, that's something you should have thought about BEFORE you decided to pop the question.

Now it might not be a civil separation because of this cheating foolishness.

The fuq that even sound like?

lolololol

except it'll be more like this

kiyan now gets whatever he wants because he has 2 parents tying to one up each other. his birthdays are going to be insane, his christmas gifts will now be the hottest gets.

it won't be a walk in a park, but don't act like as if a rich kid experiencing a divorce is the same as a poor kid experiencing a divorce.

so divorce is easier on rich kids because their parents can now compete to buy their affection?

Divorce can be easier for rich kids because money would be less of an issue in life. Money can provide comfort and opportunity in relationships for parents and kids as life situations come up. That doesnt mean divorce would be easy and painfree, it just means its one less thing to worry about for a mother, father and the kids. And divorce puts a great financial strain on most families. Obviously there are other more important factors involved for a child... but all things being equal, yes being well off can make divorce easier for all involved.

But at this point, probably the teams he would waive the NTC for pretty much match up with the ones that would give some value for him.

im kinda afraid its more likely the opposite. this whole thing may be nothing more then a setup for him to stay. "i could never leave my wife and kids" or "i need to be in NY to fix my marriage" . Its always been about whats best for melo, i dont see this situation changing anything for the positive.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.
