I thought we'd get Bucks-Suns but they decided to split up the Bucks and Suns.

Surprised they don't factor in stuff like that. Like either flip the Bucks/Celtics with Atl/Knicks and or just start the ATL game at 11:30EST.

Wonder if it was a factor playing the Suns only 2x and fitting them in schedule wise on a west coast trip.

The middle 3 games are the ones that are on ABC with the first and the last games being on ESPN, so I assume the reason they put the Bucks on 2nd instead of 1st is so they could get the ABC audience.

What happens to guys like Merrill and PJ? Do they show up or get their rings FedEx thank you John?

PJ will probably get his ring and a nice video tribute whenever Miami comes to town first. Merrill probably gets his in a less visible way whenever Memphis comes through.

PJ will go all Andre Rison with that ring

Looking at the Spurs roster, my guess is that they will try to buy out Al Farouq Aminu, might be worth taking a chance on him.

I would also kick the tires on a Diakite and Bryant for Jalen Smith trade with the Suns.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Id rather they be on ABC, Im just glad they are playing at home on Xmas day.

do guys who were UDFA and have yet to perform well in the league have any value at all, other than matching contracts?

I don't want to know the schedule yet. It means I have to let go of the season just gone. I'm not ready to let go just yet.

Pretty sure Rison sold his ring. Jim McMahon claimed to have thrown his into a river or something.

BKN fans already talking up the opener (as in "why are we playing the Bucks, no one cares about them etc etc")

The saltiness will never die with them

Just thinking salary match if they want to get off his contract to make a little more room to extend Bridges and Ayton.

Feel like the only xmas matchup the league has given us so far in this Giannis era that made sense leading up to it was the Sixers game and we stunk that game. Needed to be a finals rematch or if they were just going for another random game at least give us a MVP vs MVP game with Jokic.

Rison was the one that said he threw it in the river but recently said that wasn’t true, apparently a chick is holding on to it for him?

We just need to have a proper ring size that night. Giannis and his dogs will get theirs in front of Harden and everybody else can talk whatever they want.

Giving PJ his ring infront of Jimmy and the rest of the Heat will be funny too, whenever we play them.
still learning the game

I love that the salty Nets and their fans are going to be forced to sit there and soak up our ring night.

I'm loving it. It brings me life to read the pain behind their dismissive tweets.

Edit: There's also some real nuts over on the BKN forum. It's an entertaining read if you get bored.

Part of me feels the same, but part of me is hyped to see if we can do it again. Crazy to think that camp opens in 42 days. 42 days ago we were getting ready to tip off game 1 of the Finals.

There's two or three loonies on that site, the biggest being the guy Prokorov, who came here before the Nets series and was as nice as can be, saying how great the Bucks were. Then, when Kyrie got hurt, he said that Giannis was a dirty player and that it wasn't a basketball play. Him and a few others applauded Giannis's injury, hoping for the worst.

In my view, they have the most talent in the league and should win it, so beating the Nets will be something to look forward to. I think their top three are great players. I just don't like the artificial construction of teams like this.
