It’s weird, he’s like young Duncan on defense but he moves like KD on offense. Doesn’t have a huge post repertoire and seems to prefer face up/perimeter.

Scottie is at the 76th percentile on Offensive EPM while at 12th percentile on Defensive EPM. Despite the narrative, Barne's has looked sort of lost on off ball defense and seems to lose his man semi frequently.

Ain't you the goof that said Raptors would have to add multiple unprotected first round picks + picks swaps in a Barnes for Mobley swap for the Cavs to even consider it?

Nice to see THT replacing Bazemore in the rotation. Baze has been historically bad in his 29 minutes per game.

The Raps honestly don’t have enough picks to make that trade. You don’t trade generational talents. End of story. Barnes plus 5 unprotected firsts would get the GM fired the next day. By adding Mobley, the picks would all be in the twenties.

The problem when the Lakers play Davis at C is that they become too small. Carmelo becomes the teams only PF, meaning Bradley has to be the PF when he sits.

Not good.

Ellington is really gonna help if he can shoot over 40% from 3. In the past those type of players are CRUCIAL when LeBron plays the 4, which is looking how it’s going to be.

Baze, Bradley and Rondo should be benched as THT, Ariza and Nunn start to return.

Not yet but he’s showing more the past six games. What I love the most about Mobley is that you get great value whatever setting/scenario role you put him in.

Even for a “quiet” 10 point 8 rebound 1 block 1 steal game he’s very much a positive on the court. The defensive impact is undeniable now.

He’s had scoring spurts so not worried about his “bag.”

It’s all there to me.

Thought prime something like 18/9/4 with a steal and 2 blocks a game coupled with All NBA/DPOY defense which ain’t far off the mark.

Finding Mobley is what every team hopes for, when you have the likes of Allen, Garland, Sexton, and Okoro already on the roster, the development will be fun to watch.

Okoro is not good, at all.

His shot is busted and his defense is grossly overrated. He can guard 2 positions, and is not a lock down defender because he has trouble defending screens and his length is nothing to write home about.

Sexton is not in their future plans, and if he is, he is going to become their 6th man eventually. He doesn't fit with their core either.

You have Allen, Mobley and Garland. It's a nice core. Although, Allen may be overlapping with Mobley as far as Mobley's future position is concerned.

Now, the Cavs have a huge hole on the wings. Huge. Their best chance at patching that hole was through this draft which is deep on wings. If they end up as a playoffs team, or even a high seeded playoffs team especially, they can say good bye to this avenue and may look elsewhere.

I don't trust Koby Altman's ability to build a team and find hidden gems outside the lottery. He has put very low value on 2nd round picks and late 1st round picks.

Cavs have/had a chance to solidify their core if they get a high enough pick in the upcoming draft. Tanking is obviously out of the question as their chemistry is out of this world. They need to win. That's part of the process, obviously. Especially when their coach and the GM are on the hot seat. What i'm saying is that the Cavs road to fully rebuilding and contending could have been so easy if they had been semi bad this year. Now that it doesn't look like it, their decisions are going to be critical in the following months/years. You just don't want them to look like Lebron's first stint. You also don't want them to be too good too fast like the Trae Young's Hawks. Potentially they have a chance to really contend, soon.

Yeah, the spurs got Duncan when Robinson was hurt for a season right?

Cavs need to find a way to lose a bunch of games this season. Okoro isn’t the guy. At all.

Well, they won't. Its too late for that I think.

The team and fans have tasted winning and they simply just want to win, but it's not the best I think in terms of future outlook. But I do think this group needs some winning. So its kinda tough.

I think it’s last two mins and score has to be within a certain differential?

Regardless of what they need, they're gonna win with Mobley in the lineup. Unless they OKC/Shy Gorgeous-Al him

True. It also doesn't **** help when the coach plays him 50 minutes a game cause he cannot win without his rookie on the floor...

At this point, this is Evan Mobley's to lose and Franz Wagner is in 2nd place.

Kuminga just had a really nice stretch there in the second quarter for golden state, capped off by some nice passes that didn't manage to lead to assists, and a really nice spin move into a layup to overpower McDaniels. His frame is incredible
