I'd love to have some absolute dogs on defense with upside to be excellent role players on offense.

If Byrd can get to +35% 3FG, he's a top 5 role player in the league. Unreal defensive instincts.

Hoping to get 3 and then SA falls in love with someone.

That's fair. I think Jaku is falling way too far for what he provides. If we take him, I think that signals that we'll be choosing Maxey OR McCain at some point in the next year since we'd never be able to have 3 mediocre to bad defenders on the court. That said, you take BPA always.

They'd never do it but I'd even consider trading it for a future pick or picks. Preferably 28 or 29 to line up with the Clippers. Im really just following along that it's a top 2 draft though.

I feel like Nolan Traore is going to be sneaky high in this draft. The hype machine was early on him; he's got great size and some pretty advanced offensive moves. Played exceptionally well in the 2 playoffs he played in. Extremely young. I don't see it with him, but I could see him sneaking into the top 10.

Starting to feel like Collin Murray-Boyles is the guy with our pick. He's the Yabu replacement. And unlike Yabu, coaching staff will be willing to play him at F.

I'm trying to find a compelling reason to not have Nique Clifford inside my top 8 and I'm struggling to do so. Maybe turnovers? I know age is a concern, but he looks legit from the eye test.

Is queen ceiling even higher than Sengun? I was really unimpressed with him watching the game against Golden state. He doesnt have a reliable jumper, doesnt shoot well from the ft line, and has to work a lot for his points( no easy points). Queen looks like a fat boy too, not that high on him...

Not advocating for him as a top 6 pick, but would like to be on record that Rasheer Fleming is going to be a steal in this draft. He has all of all of the makings of Bobby Portis type stretch 4/5…possibly a little more athletic.

He’d be my target if we end up with the 5th or 6th pick and can trade down and pick up an extra asset(s)

I don't really understand what the quote in the picture means. Usually if you get a guy in the top 7 who is an actual star, they are immediately ready to produce numbers. Rarely does a player come into the league and take 3+ years to get onboarded and used to the NBA speed before they start making impacts on games. If we draft someone in the top 7 and they aren't 10+ ppg, or aren't an elite 2 way role player at minimum, in the first two years then they aren't going to amount to much in the pros unfortunately. Of course there are a few exceptions.

Based on the type of players Morey's been drawn to in the past, I wouldn't be shocked if he has Tre Johnson #3 on his board. He usually saves the STOCKS emphasis for role players who can accumulate those. It'd be controversial in the public eye to take him over Bailey/VJ, but I don't think either of those guys is guaranteed to become an all-star.

I hard to say what to glean from their draft picks, but I do know they like bigs who are 70% FT and higher and like wings and guards that are 78% FT and higher.

Not sure if that knocks Harper and Bailey down a peg.
