Im glad someone took Butler. Wiggins is a good player. Many are questioning if the Warriors got worse.

They have a lot of salary committed to the big 3. They're gonna have to round out the roster as constructed it's not enough. Can they sign buyout players now @ Panda?

They are still capped at the first apron. They have Payton and Looney they can still deal. Maybe for Vucevic

Damn, this page finally loaded. I think we damn near crashed the server.

So, essentially, we sent out Jimmy and Josh Richardson for Wiggins, 100 year old PJ Tucker, and 1 frp?

I need to process this. Not sure how I feel about this yet.

I still think we do everything we can to get Anderson off the books. Micky had 5 min with being under the tax. I know he can taste that 10 million dollar tax revenue sharing check coming his way lol.

That's correct.

We get much needed wing defenders in Wiggins and Tucker, and we also get a 1st round pick.

The first round pick is for 2025 and is top-10 protected. However, if the Warriors some how get a top 10 pick this upcoming draft, we then will get their 2026 first round pick (which is also top 10 protected). If the Warriors once again luck into a top 10 pick in 2026, we then get their 2027 first round pick (which is unprotected).

Between that pick and Wiggins, I feel pretty happy about the trade. We were never going to get a haul for Jimmy, and this package makes me a lot happier than the proposed Memphis package that included Marcus Smart

Anderson too for now. 2025 is 1-10 protected in loaded draft so will convey. Can have up to 3 1st rd picks to trade with Rozier, Anderson, and Duncan equaling over 50 million in expiring. If Toronto held there word and took Anderson we would have gotten completely out of tax and eligible to sign the prime buyout targets like Malcolm Brogden and Bruce Brown. Elisburg almost put on a cap saving masterclass but still some time to dump. We also gave up a 2nd rd pick to dump J Rich.

Guessing Wiggins soaks up the minutes that Highsmith and Larsson played tonight, mostly.

Herro
Robinson
Wiggins
Adebayo
Ware

Seems the most likely starting 5. Would love to move Duncan to the bench, Tyler to the 2 and get a PG. Brogdon was MWP's shout and seems cheap and would fit in well with that group. He's a decent spot up shooter.

My guess is there will be a further move prior to the deadline to get us there.

Brogden will get bought out if not moved. We will need to get rid of Anderson to make it happen. Think that could have been talked about in the plans. We are still capped at signing players making no more than 12.8 million

T Wolves have the prior Anderson TPE in there back pocket. They are in the 2nd apron but can take Anderson back for nothing if they really like him. Hard ask though cause heavy tax penalty.

Boys,

With the small fish (Luka/Buttwart) now out of the way, it's time to get to the main course.

Mama's accepting offers. Send your highest and best.

You guys actually thought Suns would trade KD for Butler. LOL.

Good trade for the Heat. Wiggins was huge for Warriors and I think he will fit in well with Heat.

Wiggins is going to be used as the third go-too scorer. He is not just a highsmith sub.

On paper, not bad given the circumstances. But hard to get excited about Wiggins and PJ Tucker and a pick.

bro the servers wont even let me look at the page

okay so we got rid of butler finally.

Wiggins is a nice piece, 29 yrs old, good. Spo can use him well.

PJ has a nice spot on the bench until we get rid of him too.
