old Quincy Miller vid not sure if it was before or after he tore his ACL but i just can't get over how sick his handles are for someone that damn tall.....although the defense is subpar to say the least

For anybody who missed the combine. PJ3s agent saying he would like for PJ3 to get a chance to play the 3 kind of surprised me.

PJ3
BBD
D12

Could be a strong 345 defensively & on the glass.

i'm warming up to teague.......i like the fact that he's almost on par athletically with his brother but it's said he's more of a point guard compared to his brother...... His brother Jeff is a player on the rise....not a bad comparison......I think nbadraft.net says he's Jeff Teague meets Tony Parker

Second round they should get that kostos panali...thikos??? Kid out of Greece. Great motor competitor, really good shooter high iq..seems like the type san Antonio would go after and ends up to be a pretty good player.

Rather have Quincy Miller than Perry Jones.

I voted for Teague in the very beginning, but I hope we trade up for Austin Rivers. If not Teague makes sense.

Sounds like what people say about Jason Kidd early in his career

no comparison in my mind....Jason Kidd was the real deal....didn't he win co-rookie of the year? Marshall is nowhere near that good in my mind.....he's aight...but....even early on Jason showed he can do other things to compensate for having no J....steals...rebounds...i believe as a Rook he averaged like 12 points....5 Rebounds....7 Assists.....with 2 steals a game.....Marshall can pass but...that's it.....he's definitely no Jason Kidd

I'm really high on Kostas Papanikolao and like you said he is a really high energy guy, with a great shot, and high basketball IQ. I think he could be a really solid pick in the second round, but I'm also in favor of drafting euros in the second round and hope they pay off like San Antonio does. I mean they have about four guys who will come over in the next three years that could be solid NBA players. I just think it is a great way to find talent maybe allow the player to develop a little and then bring them over. This year really isn't a great year for Euros but with the Adidas EuroCamp going on it has shed some light on some interesting prospects.

Rudy Gobert, Center (7'0.25 wo shoes, 7'9" wingspan, and almost a 10 foot reach)

Image

Rudy is really a interesting prospect he is another in a long line of French players and centers like Johan Petro and Alexis Ajinca. Rudy is really a disruptive shot blocker as you can tell from his great wingspan and reach but he is also a solid defensive player in general and really aware on that side of the ball. In a game against the U20 Russian team at the Adidas EuroCamp he posted 15 points, 3 reb, and 4 steals which isn't bad for 30 minutes of action. Rudy might shoot into the first round with his impressive measurements and great workouts but with it being a weak Euro draft he might slip into round two and would be a great pick up.

There are a ton of other prospects that have my interest and you might hear me pimping in the next few weeks.

1. Oleksandr Lypovyy, PG
2. Paul Lacombe, PG
3. Izzet Turkyilmaz, PF (really intersting prospect)
4. Dmitry Kulagin, PG
5. Negueba Samake, C
6. Leo Westermann, PG
7. Tornike Shengelia, SF
8. Ilkan Karaman, SF
9. Andrew Albicy, PG
10. Max Kleber, SF

The athletic numbers from the combine have come out and here are some interesting things.

Perry Jones III -- Max Vert: 38.5 -- Sprint: 3.19 -- Agility: 11.31
Quincy Miller -- Max Vert: 36 -- Sprint: 3.48 -- Agility: 11.05
Marquis Teague -- Max Vert: 40.5 -- Sprint: 3.19 -- Agility: 10.65
Tony Wroten -- Max Vert: 35.5 -- Sprint: 3.24 -- Agility: 10.75
Jeff Taylor -- Max Vert: 40 -- Sprint: 3.29 -- Agility: 10.87
Harrison Barnes -- Max Vert: 39.5 -- Sprint: 3.16 -- Agility: 10.93
Terrence Ross -- Max Vert: 37.5 -- Sprint: 3.28 -- Agility: 11.78
Moe Harkless --Max Vert: 37 -- Sprint: 3.25 -- Agility: 10.87
Kendall Marshall -- Max Vert: 37 -- Sprint: 3.23 -- Agility: 12.03
Tyshawn Taylor -- Max Vert: 36.5 -- Sprint: 3.20 -- Agility: 11.48
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist -- Max Vert: 35.5 -- Sprint: 3.18 -- Agility: 11.77

Here are the results for most of the guys we have been talking about for our pick at 19 and I also add Barnes and Gilchrist to compare the top small forwards with guys like Taylor. I think it is pretty interesting to look at and see who measures out.

These questions were not even around Kidd besides the shooting. What are you talking about? Kidd was a exceptional defender, great rebounder, ball thief and was fast with the ball.

This post reeks of somebody that maybe isn't old enough to remember or just plain doesn't know what type of player Kidd was in his youth.

16.7ppg 6.9rpg 9.1apg 3.1spg .472 .362 (on almost 5 3PTA a game BTW) .692 <<<THAT is Jason Kidd in college. I swear most of you guys just look at somebodys listed height, focus on a single stat, and jump to a single conclusion/evaluation about somebodys game.

Kendall Marshall is NOTHING like Jason Kidd.

I'm on the Quincy Miller kool aid
But seriously, this kid has the natural SF and dribbling skills while all these other tweeners keep vascilating between 4/3 spots and played 4 mostly in college, and all the other scoring prospects we liked in the previous drafts didn't have the obvious SF body and competition that Baylor faced. This kid is straight up reminiscent of Durant. I'm not gonna say he is even KD Lite yet but he has that same body type/height/reach etc and very good handle with the set 3 shot and go to jumpers. At 14-19 it's a no risk situation with the potential of him stealing some major minutes from Turk/SF spot, maybe early in the this season and bringing back some of that hype CLee brought to us.

Im just not sold on grabbing a tweener in the spot we're at, they notoriously dont pan out. On the other hand a great backup PG typically falls in this area.

Tweeners from the past few years in our range:
Tobias Harris
Austin Daye
James Johnson

Solid PG's taken at 17-21 in the past few:
Eric Bledsoe
Jrue Holiday
Ty Lawson
Jeff Teague
Eric Maynor
Darren Collison

And seeing as scouts say Marquis is a better version of Jeff and hes got a 40inch vert, I say grab him if he falls. Quincy Miller on the other hand, is nothing near Kevin Durant, never will be. What makes KD so good is that he can take people off the dribble and Miller does NOT have a first step at all.
