Yeah. I've heard guys come on Waddle and Silvy talk about how Nikola is comparable to Hedo. I've seen a couple of games for Mirotic and no where did I see a guy that could play a point SF type role. Who ever made that claim with waddle and Silvy definitely haven't watched him play.
He's a stretch 4 imo.
I agree that Hedo is a TERRIBLE comparison and its quite obvious they havent watched too much of Mirotic. That being said I can see Mirotic can definately play the 3 on offense. Hes quick enough to play the position and has the handle to do so and a has a nice stoke. He wont be a point forward but he could play the 3 in the same type of role as a Mike Dunleavy. The Big question mark is can he guard small forwards? Do you really want him guarding the Lebrons, Carmelo Anthony's, Kevin Durant, Joe Johnson, Rudy Gays of the leaugue. He has the offensive skill set to play the 3, but defensively I dont think it will be ideal imo. I agree with you that Mirotic should be used as a stetch 4 and I think he will be a matchup problem for teams in a few years when he adds strength. He should be a great 3rd option on a championship team in couple of years, maybe secound option if everything happens perfectly. His first season he should come off the bench because there WILL be a transitional period for him and he will get exposed right now if he starts.

I think we need to bring him over this off-season.
The sooner we can get him acclimated to NBA ball, the better.

Niko struggled again and Real Madrid lost to Barcelona this afternoon (94x79).
He scored 11pts and had 1 rebound

Did you watch the game or did you just look at the box score? A box score doesn't really tell the story and he only played 15 minutes.

Well, since I have been watching Mirotic for years, I can say that it is not a tough call at all ... Wiggins and Parker are the only 2 players in this year's draft who would likely have a more productive NBA career than Mirotic ... Maybe Embiid, if he remains fit ... Apart from those 3 players, Mirotic is a better talent than the rest ... I have no doubt about that ...
