Hendo, Cody, Taylor works
Hendo, Bismack, Taylor works
Hendo + 2 of (MKG, Cody, Bismack, Neal, Kemba, Haywood*) works with or without Taylor thrown in

Now maybe less than max would be needed in some cases but there is no fine lead to guess how much. Also Gee could be included as well as long as Deeks' premises in this http://www.thescore.com/nba/news/528321 are right (great read!).

Dion Waiters said he feels he will be traded. Some source (I don't remember) said Irving + Waiters would be split up. So now that the Cavs have locked up Irving, shouldn't our front office know that Waiters is available? Also, consider Wiggins can play SG and the Cavs have shown serious interest in Lebron + Hayward for that final SF spot.

Can we pry Waiters somehow? What would it take? Who would the Cavs want?

Are you saying this is what is required to maintain most of our cap space?

Edit: I know hes an UFA, but just saying

Doubt it would be near close enough for Indy to accept. I really didn't want to throw Zeller in there since I love him to death, but just trying to think outside the box.

If we can move Neal + Zeller for Waiters, we might be at 23 million in cap space if Zeller + Waiters (both 4th overall picks) earn the same amt. I'm not sure if Waiters has escalated.

23 million is enough for Carmelo Anthony at a slight discount + McRoberts on a home team discount.

It's enough to pry away Chandler Parsons as well and it was that Massey guy who tweeted about our interest in Parsons.

I'd rather Cho just sign him outright, I don't care much for giving Indy anything for their headache and I hope Cho doesn't either.

Waiters for Zeller would be a much better option if we go the trade route imo.

I don't know why we'd send Indiana anything (ok, maybe Hendo) for an UFA. They can't even sign him anymore unless they create some space or go into the tax.

Eh, Id rather just keep Zeller than go that route. Better off keeping him anyway more than likely.

As I said in the other thread, if we sign and trade for anyone, beyond a star player, I'm gonna be pretty upset.

As much as I like Zeller, if we really feel we need to upgrade at SG while maintaining the cap for McBob, Waiters would be the better option imo.

Im not sure if Waiters would be an upgrade though to be honest. Hes awfully ball dominant, and so is Walker. Thats part of the reason why himn and Irving can't co-exist. Also has kind of an "eh" attitude. Hendersons average, but at least he knows his role.

Why do we want Stephenson then?

Waiters averaged 15.9/2.8/3/0.9 on 43/37/69 in 29.6mpg.

The guy has undeniable talent and would fit between Kemba and MKG better than Lance imo.

Because Stephenson is a great facilitator and rebounder as well. Id probably do the Waiter for Zeller deal, but Id much rather prefer Stephenson

Waiters is a great facilitator also and a much better scorer and shooter than Lance which is what we need.

Obviously not that good on the defensive end, but not terrible either.

Waiters isn't that ball dominant either, with Kyrie around, he doesn't get much of the opportunity.
