Are you guys even watching the games or just waiting on Bruno to appear in the box score. The dude is not dressed, not activated for these games and probably rightfully so this early. He could dress over maybe Landry but even then he's likely to not play and then you'll have something else to complain about Casey for dressing him and not playing him.
Instead of feeling good about how good the team is that we can take our time with an 18 year old, you're complaining that we're not playing that 18 year old.
It's like you all forgot how to enjoy the game of basketball and follow a good team.

They should've known it was going to be a blow out and made him active before the game

Why because Chicago and other teams blew them out? No, Philly has fought hard to keep every other game close, they didnt know ****. When are people around here going to notice that we are a good team now. The days of wanting a young guy to be the next thing and our saviour are gone. This is about continuing to become more and more legit. Bruno is not ready to outperform the other 13 guys that played today. Those 13 guys are the ones who need more time together because they will be the ones we need in the playoffs. It is about becoming a better team with the legit players we have now. Bruno will develop in practice, the D-league and next summer. We just have to start to realize that developing the kids are not the main objective anymore.

If he and Bebe can't even be dressed for a game against the Sixers... there's no way they are seeing playing time any time soon

Man, I'm so anxious to see Bruno playing at least on D-League ... Why are they taking so long to send him there?

were talking about an 0-7 team with a bunch of no names, u know why the spurs have been so good, its because they've been able to balance continuity and team development, why can't we do the same thing...regardles im not trying to make this a big issue because it really isn't a big issue, but i do think either lucas or bruno deserved to play over a bum ass landry fields, and there is no way you are going to tell me otherwise.

Developing our youngsters in Bebe and Bruno is very crucial to our success in the future
With that being said, playing 4-5 minutes of garbage time isn't going to do anything for them.
Their development comes through practice, among other areas. Going up against DeMar, Kyle, Amir in practice and not scrubs like Sampson and other players on that team I don't even remember. Its getting better at English + Getting stronger. For Bruno, its getting a tighter handle. Learning the offensive and defensive system from our coaches. Its going through video so they knows where they need to get better
When the time comes, they will have a chance to play.

They said they aren't sending him there. They want full control over him- what he's exposed to, how he develops.

They want him here so they can evaluate his progress. That doesn't mean he can't get some experience in the D-League. In fact I'm almost 100% sure he's going to be sent down there every now and then so he can work on his game.
That would be idiotic if he just rode the bench and practiced with the Raptors all season. He should get used to playing against some competition.

Could have sworn they specifically said he wasn't going to the D-League but I could be wrong.
How are they going to get him to bulk beyond what his body can handle if he's getting a bunch of cardio in the D-League. THINK, Risk!

Lol I clearly lost it but you do bring up a good point. How much can he really gain without losing some of his basketball skills? Both Kevin Durant and Teyshaun Prince have kept there weight without significant change. He probably could gain another 10-15 pounds but any more could decrease his overall game? Just a thought i had.

Yeah, if he has a skinny frame, get him to add some muscle but nothing crazy. Focus instead on explosiveness and other things to help him out. That's what I think anyways so I agree with you.

The Spurs didn't even play guys like Danny Green, and Cory Joseph when they were rooks/sophmores, and those guys were 21-23 years old. Bruno's 18 years old. I don't think you really have a good point with the Spurs tbh. They developed a lot of their guys slowly as well, either on the bench, or stashing in Europe till they were ready. Tony Parker is the only one that got minutes as a teenager.
Development for Bruno takes place in practice, training, watching, listening, etc... right now. Getting 5 minutes in a 40 point blowout is not development. It would do nothing for him. All it would do is give some Raps fans a little extra reason to watch the last few minutes of a blow out, that is it.
