From that Seth Davis article:

John Collins, 6’9” freshman forward, Wake Forest
“Great finisher at the rim. Better shooter than he showed at Wake. Defensively is where he really struggles. I didn’t see a lot of effort from him on that end. But he’ll be able to score at an elite level in our league. Can be a little silly at times. Has to become more focused, more mature. He can’t dribble and he can’t pass, but you cannot leave him alone. He’s just so damn efficient. He doesn’t pass at all but he shoots 65 percent from the field. He had a hard time staying out of foul trouble.”

I feel vindicated now for thinking he can be a really good scorer haha.

Speights scores 20 per 36 on great efficiency :reporter:.

This season was like the first time he's been efficient in his lengthy career.

Cool video on Semi Ojeleye. I like the Draymond Green comparisons. Obviously the defense won't ever translate but offensively, if he's a more athletic version of Draymond then he likely becomes a top 5 player in this draft class, no? There's a lot to like here imho.

I like Semi but I don't see how a Draymond Green comp works when he doesn't really project to be either of the things that make Draymond who he is, the best defender in the league and almost a point forward like playmaker.

He's closer to Parker.

Isnt the closest comp for Semi, Corey Maggette? Insane hops, good finisher, athletic but raw on D, from Duke, chisled like the old spice shower guy...

Maggette isn't a bad comp I don't think. I think Semi's offensive polish is already better than Maggettes ever was as a pro. He was strictly a bruiser/slasher that relied 100% on athletic ability with very limited actual basketball skills. He was just built like a brick **** house and it worked for him. Semi could be a rich mans Corey Maggette and that's a player that sticks around and contributes for a long healthy career.

Really intrigued by what Mitchell said about Swanigan ... Is he the Mornoe of this draft class ?
If he is, It would be nice to have him on a rookie contract.

He has lost weight, he looks really determined to make an NBA career, and I respect men who are determined and put the work to it.
Monroe with better range ? I will search his shotchart too..
Edit : Found it ... there you go... just wow... huge upside... he got way slimmer, can he be like Myles Turner?

It's funny because I think Swanigan is the most "Jokic" like prospect in this class (big that can pass, post up, and stretch the floor all at a high level), but I just can't see him being anything but a massive defensive liability.

Just went through a few mocks and some still have Mitchell from Louisville available at our spot. He has to be the pick if available doesn't he?
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.
