I wonder if there were any other changes in the front office when kidd was fired. IE Thorn and some other cronies being kindly told to take a hike.

How active, or inactive a role has Thorn had in the last year? Didn't Thorn, Kidd, and ??? make the not-so-secret road trip to scout Wilson's workout? That's the last action I recall hearing that included Thorn. Of course, he's only a phone call away in any case.

I’m not sure honestly, but he was in the draft war room so I thought he would continue to have an influence with Kidd here at least.

Kidd would have curb stomped him.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Hard to imagine LED weren't absolutely creaming themselves at the thought of having Dwade on the team. After all they're the suckers who jumped at the chance of getting Kidd in the first place

Honestly, somewhat glad we stood pat. Maybe it's Bucks PTSD, but deadline day has always made me nervous. This team is playing well. Lets see what they have for the next few weeks. Zeller isn't a sexy pickup, but he should integrate fairly well and be an upgrade over the dregs we've been trotting out there off the bench.

I for one am glad we didn't gut our team for a guy like DAJ. I have mixed feelings on Jabari as well. It's easy to get emotionally attached to him again after seeing him play and look in shape. I am fighting to stay objective on him moving forward, but damn, it's tough. He was a symbol of hope & that is a challenging thing to let go of.

I kinda like what the Cavs did in the end, after managing to process the whole thing. They got rid of many of their past mistakes and have now more shooting, more defense, and more friskiness. The big caveats are a) will Ty Lue manage to get them playing decent defense again with the new crew? Big question for his coaching acumen. And b) did the Quin Snyder effect augment the performance of Hood and Hill (in his stint in Utah) and will that show with them in Cleveland or will they work out better than Crowder?

So, if LeBron bolts Cleveland this off-season... could we do a sign&trade for Hood with one of our bad contracts, and something like Thon, Wilson, a future first or some seconds? Or if Bron stays, could we do the same with Middleton instead? Provided that Hood gets a fair contract in this salary-starved environment

Rodney Hood could easily have a far better career than Jabari. He certainly has so far.

Just sayin.

Only if Jabari was injured. I don't how you could say that if Parker is healthy. Considering the age difference and stats it's not even close. Hood is a role player. Jabari has star potiental.

Parker is easily the better player. Granted his defense has to be better than poor, but Hood's numbers just aren't there. Parker will beat his offensive production / efficiency for sure.

I like Hood, I like Parker better.

I completely agree. I looked at Hood's numbers again and they are pretty bad. And I take it back even a semi healthy Jabari would be better than Hood. Hood is only shooting a few percentage points over 40% from the field and for someone who is 6'7 is only avg 3 rebounds per good. Give me Parker any day.
