Was watching some highlights earlier. Forgot RJ played with Luka on that rising stars team earlier this year.

Regardless of how successful the Nets are, I just really wanted us to trade up for Wiseman and couldn’t even get that done.![]()
Would have been happy with a young core of RJ, Wiseman and IQ. Sigh. Has really been a tough year in a lot of aspects.
Yeah Wiseman is the perfect big man next to RJ. Oh well.. it is what it is.
Now I’m hoping for Dallas to suck terribly this year and get two high lottery picks. I want one of Cade/Suggs with Jalen Green.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

LOL am not ready yet to take a deeper dive into the prospects. Just too much disappointment from the past years. Hard to really like some guys and not be in the position to get them or the FO makes foolish decisions.
Anyone who did a little more than usual homework on Wiseman would now that he was clearly the best prospect in the last draft class.

I doubt that Dolan is going to change his ways as an owner if the Nets somehow win it all.Just look at how the Knicks continued to be a struggling organization even after the Nets made 2 finals appearances in the early 00’s.

Honestly, and others have said this, the guy who "wills" the Knicks to a Championship will be a Kobe/MJ personality who leads (terrorizes) others through his own iron determination to win That type of person follows no one!
Its a completely different mental makeup.
No disrespect to KD but him following anyone anywhere, when he's arguably the best player in the game, demonstrated to me that he didn't have a "I know where I'm going" attitude that I believe you need to overcome all the ancillary stuff thrown at you when you live in NYC and play for the Knicks.

Re: Around the NBA - new season chatter
I don't think I've ever been less interested in an NBA season.
I despise all the contending teams and how their roster was constructed (free agent signings, player forcing trades). I dislike all the best players on these contenders besides Kawhi, so I'm not even interested in the individual storylines.
With Klay being out, there isn't a team with a realistic shot that I don't find repulsive, other than the Nuggets I guess (a long shot).
The Knicks being a hot mess sure doesn't help. But the whole league feels artificial to me these days.

Who hates Luka Doncic?
I'm more pissed that the 2017/2018 Knicks managed to win 19 games in their first two months. They won only 10 more games the rest of the season. Ah but those early wins in a year where everyone knew NY wasn't doinng squat meant the Knicks ended up drafting 8th instead of 2nd or 3rd (where Doncic was picked) in the last record "slotted" draft.

I’ve never seen one player ruin an entire league the way that Lebron has.

Do Steve Mills, Scott Perry and David Fizdale strike you as people who'd appreciate what Luka achieved in Madrid?
They'd have drafted Bagley at 2.

That's wouldn't have made sense. Bagley & KP?!
The Knicks would have selected Doncic by default as he fit what NY had on roster with KP and secondly Phil wanted to run the triangle, but he didn't have the fulcrum that you need to leverage that offense. Doncic is the perfect fulcrum for that a triangle offense.
