but why? Schroder has been good. Terrance Ross is the ultimate heat check player. He would drive us nuts.

Juancho. Kanter and cash for Bagley. The cash would cover the salary of one of those players, who would be waived by the Kings.

Can't trade Kanter right now.

And right now Juancho can only be traded in a 1 for 1 trade.

But Celts can use the Fournier TPE on Bagley.

Well, he could be, but not if he continues to sit on the bench as much as he does. Hello, Ime!

Pritchard is older than Tatum. If Pritchard was any good he wouldn't be sitting on the bench, or at least be a 2nd string.

These are all pretty extreme takes. Pritchard is not, and most likely will not, become FVV. He is better than he's shown this season though; we've seen tons of players struggle with a mask. Pritchard is a solid player. Just because he's not AS good as FVV doesn't mean he's not good.

I can wait until January.

Hate how good the Sixers would be but this could be pretty beneficial for us.

This post is the height of madness.

Bagley has no value.

True.

If the Celts really want him, just use the Fournier TPE.

Give the Kings a protected 1st round pick.

Eh, Bagley can be a Christian Wood plus. Sacramento doesnt play him at all and doesnt want to move him either. I forgot we got the TPE, but Smart at this contract is not worth it. Bagley will provide more in 2-3 years. But hes been soft and injury prone without much development it seems, so its risky for sure. I'd rather give Schroder Smarts money if we could.

If that's the case then I prefer the Celts go all in on Christian Wood instead.

I would absolutely love Christian wood but the truth of the matter is there is no way to get him without giving up a first. And I am guessing we are saving our 1st for a beal or somebody like that.

So the 1st round Pritchard, who put up 21-4-5 shooting 41% from three in college, then had a PER 36 of 15-5-3 and 41% as a rookie... for some odd reason, can't possible be as good as undrafted FVV who had similar PER 36 his first three seasons until he got the chance to start? Okay. Clearly he isn't going to get the chance to start here and prove me right but I'll die on this hill. If he did start, it'd give us our best chance to win. And if the Jays shared the ball, he'd put up FVV numbers and production. Sucks we'll never find out though. At this point I'd rather he and Nesmith be traded so they can play. Watching them sit behind undeserving vets doesn't sit well with me.

I think Wood is worth a 1st round pick.

Wood will be Horford's successor.

I like the Celts playing 2 bigs.

If you can get wood and the main cost is a single 1st, you take it and run. He is cheap and can score, can't defend a physical 5 though

I'm glad to see how Stevens is coming out hard against the Brown for Simmons trade. I often thought Ainge was too quite about denying dumb trades, and it seemed like it left bad tastes in the player's mouths. Stevens want Brown to know that he had zero interest in this dumb trade suggestion that they media kept trying to push.

Not sure how the Sixers trade would happen, if you didn't include Brown. It would have to be Horford or Richardson moving with Smart, and I doubt Philly wants either of those players back, and I doubt either of those players wants to go back to Philly. And we'd be dumb to trade Horford right now, as he's playing at an all star level.

I wouldn't worry too much about a Ben Simmons to the Celtics trade.

The earliest that can happen is when Smart can be traded after January 25.

Right now I'm really intrigued by the idea of Christian Wood replacing Grant Williams as the 3rd big man for the Celts.
