so far, he hasnt been that exciting of a pick.

but i do see some glimpses.

He majorly needs to spend the summer tightening his handles and getting a little more strength. his first step isn't very explosive, so he is def struggling with guys staying in front of him, and stripping him. It will be a lot different when you have good pick setters tho.

he is trying to power through guys, and even at summer league, its not happening.

as for his shot, i honestly would like to see him be more aggressive and launch away. I don't what another ben simmons going on.

just keep letting it fly, its the only way you can get in game experience.

lets hope this is a franz situation where his game crosses over, but you dont see it in summer league.

I always go back to game 1 where maybe he had a hot streak that game.

Based on our roster. I 100% the defensive strategy coming in was out muscle us + force black into his uncomfortable zone.

Give Black a decent summer league roster and I think we see a different Black. I will be waiting for the NBA to see what happens from here. Maybe I don't "love what I see" in terms of weaknesses. But I don't hate the product and I definitely see the potential.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

I wish this kid shot better too. I dont think he will be much more than a career back up, but suggesting he is good or bad based on his 3p% when 3 of the top 6 PGs in the league shoot in the 32% area is pretty silly.

That's the worst take I've heard in a long time. Maybe ever.

I know I'm hating. I don't think I'll ever come around to liking the pick. He's just not a good player. Too many flaws. It's ok. We can't win em all.

To be fair this Shelv Mack thing wasn't true. He wasn't leading Magic assist player for season, rather player with most APGs remaining on roster for last game of a season. Payton averaged 6,3 apg that year but didn't finish season with Magic.

Who are 3 of top 6 PGs who shoot 32% ?

Curry- best shooter ever
rest ( career vise)
Luka - career 34%
LIllard -37%
Harden 36%
Irving 39%
Garland 39%

Who am i missing other than Ja Morant? Who, btw shoots near 36% for 3 in playoffs for career

We're worse than Bulls fans on young players.
